Major discovery in schwannoma tumour research

A research team at the University Health Network in Toronto has described the genomic landscape of schwannoma tumours in a paper published online in Nature Genetics.

Hello, I suffer from schwannomatosis. It has been confirmed in genetic testing. My illness is quite aggressive. In total, 11 tumors of the vertebral canal were removed, some of them enlarged to large size, I had a tumor of the nerve Vlll, a retroperitoneal tumor of the male fist. At the moment I have a tumor of the abdominal spine and 5 tumors of the spinal canal. I would like to get tested on a drug that could stop the disease from developing, but I can not get anywhere. I'm tired of operations :( I'm scared of my life and my future.

unfortunately, i have 17 schwannomas. the extension goes from my middle finger till my forearm, in the medial nerve. the pain is quite hallucinating sometimes.

I have just gone through surgery as I had a 33inch tumour in my plural cavity. I’m concerned it may occur again.

Mine is an vestibular Shwanoma between my ear and brain. St George’s hospital in London will be carrying out my surgery which will leave me profoundly deaf in my left ear.

don't let it grow too much, have they found any options yet, not in my country. Ours are heritage, I just had my first one removed...

Big schwannoma in neck but has no medicine for cure... Surgery is not possible.... suggest any treatment...

how do i get rid of the toe pain which is still with me since after the surgery ? It was shwanama . its been 2 months and i still take pain killers for the toe of my left leg .

My son has a Schwannoma tumor on the Triimgeminal nerve, third branch. It has changed his life. He is in pain and also sick from the side affects of the pills 20 plus he has to take every day.
