Nice work, one suggestion (having worked for a few decades with small equipment like skid loaders) always keep your arms as low as you can, once they are up high the center of gravity shifts significantly and loaders get very "tippy". Hate to see anyone roll one over. Take care guys!!!

Worst one responded to was a farmer moving big round bales, the 1st time he got lucky and as bale was rolling back a bump caused to shift and tip sideways,, 2nd time responded to same address had a gut feeling this ain't gonna be good,, same person, same peice of equipment, almost the exact same spot, but instead of tipping over sideways the bale rolled back off the bucket, down the arms, and over him,, in the days before everything had cab or rollover bars

You guy's and lady did a great job. Use the forks to push and pull it out. Unless your in a small confined space. It is just about impossible to get it stuck. Spinning the tracks will compress the muck underneath and allow extraction. It is hard on the tracks. But not everyone can just go get another.

Some buddies and I were mudding on his property. First guy went through a pond overflow crossing in an old bronco bouncing off trees the whole way . I followed in my heavier diesel, crawling to avoid the trees, big mistake sunk to frame on 33's. We couldn't get straps to clear ground and none of us had winches back then. I had to drive 2.5 hours home, get a mini-ex, drag my truck out, hump equipment back, then come back for my truck (trailer was not long enough). That was a ridiculously long weekend.

Back in the 70's and 80's I was a Heavy Duty Electrician (4 inch conduit, miles long cables) on the power houses being built in Utah. We would wake up at 4 am, load up buddies around Orem and Provo, drive through Historic Spanish Fork Canyon (Part of the Old Spanish Trail to California) work a 10-12 hour shift, drive back home late at night, and do the whole thing over again the next morning. One morning there were a lot of lights around Thistle. They were rebuilding the railroad track. That went on for days. Then one morning there were big bumps in the road. The railroad crews had given up. Billie's Mountain was having a slow landslide, wiping out the tracks, sliding up the other side and destroying the road. Then the road was closed as nature did it's thing. We had to find another way to get to work.

There are a number of tips and tricks skid loader operators can use to create lift and minimize the potential of getting stuck. You can use the boom down and bucket tilt cylinder to lift and push yourself out. One or two sheets of plywood makes a great mats to set the skid loader on to minimize sinking throw the plywood on the truck before loading the skid loader.

Glad you guys are out there having fun. That said, a word of caution: Don't ever stand under a raised loader arm unless you have it mechanically locked out. If something in the hydraulic system lets go (something bursts), those arms can drop like a guillotine. (It won't be slow like it is when you move it under power.) I've never seen it happen, but it has happened. If it doesn't kill you outright, it will certainly maim you. (Sorry for being the safety guy, but these kind of accidents can be devastating in the blink of an eye.)

The secret with suction when you can just pull(no lift)- put it on tension and patiently keep retentionig it for the next half hour. So its not enough to rip vehicle apart or pull your recovery rigg inn, but the maximum tension at all time. In first 10 min it might move just 10mm, but keep that tension on, keep checking it so it does not losen up and eventually it will start to come out quicker and quicker to the point where you can see it moving after half hour or more.
