My wife says I spend to much time watching calamity Kim. I keep telling her it's purely technical. She doesn't know what a Bronze bush is. I told her about Kim's latest shaft job but she just jumps to conclusions. I can't win. She says there is no way I'm getting Kim to fix my old junk.

Excellent work!!! 0:54 been there done that, many times. It's the 5 stages of dealing with difficult equipment, 1. denial, "I definitely took out all the bolts, or screws, clips, etc. I defo didn't miss anything" 2. anger, "OK, screw you and the horse you rode in on. You piece of garbage, I hope you rust" 3. bargaining, "ah come on, I released the do-dad, and loosened the other thing. If you come apart I'll be your friend and give you loads of lovely fresh grease/oil" 4. depression, "why, why won't you come apart, out, whatever. Sob quietly out of earshot of the machine" 5. acceptance, "f^&k it, the gas axe, or angle grinder, it is then"

Thanks Robbie. So they’re made by 3m, it’s a product called roloc, and they’re the bristle brush attachment. You basically buy a little mount, mines 50mm, then you can buy sanding disks, bristle brushes and some scotch bright sanding disks of all different grades. They’re brilliant! I spent about £20-£30 on bits once and not ordered any since. They last ages.

@CalamityKim1
@CalamityKim1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, I think my 1/2” set goes up to 36 but I have a 3/4 set that goes up to 50mm, that’s a Clarke set. You can get similar sets on eBay for not a lot of money. With a 1/2” to 3/4” adapter it there’s not much you can’t do. I also have varying large impact sockets from over the years doing odd jobs.
