"Major Tom (Coming Home)" was originally released in German as "Major Tom [völlig losgelöst]" by Peter Schilling in 1983. It seems to involve the character from David Bowie's "Space Oddity" and relates the story of Major Tom breaking contact with ground control and traveling off into space.
