Hello, dear KZfaqrs! 20 million views on the official video of Major Tom in just over a year. That's not bad, at all. In fact, it's amazing! I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This achievement is not something to be taken for granted.
And please don't forget to keep writing to me. I read all your comments! My boys listen to you daily. They mimic the head and arm movements from the live versions of Major Tom. My son, Christian, received a signed photo from you a couple of weeks ago and his hands were shaking because he was so excited. Thank you for the joy that you brought to our family. This is the song that I remember with more happiness from my childhood Major Peter. I'm from Peru and here it was a complete success back in the 80's decade and still rockin' on! Major Tom is easily one of my favorite songs, specifically the German version. I will never forget hearing it on the radio when a new 80s station started a year and a half ago and started going crazy in the car.

Seit ich 3,5 jahr alt war. Höre ich Major tom. Und liebe dieses lied. Höre ihn jede woche öfters. Weil dieses lied mich glücklich macht. Immer!!! Natürlich auch andere viele Lieder wie the different story oder hinter dir um nur 2 weitere zu nennen. Freu mich immer wieder auf neue Lieder, weil sie immer wieder was ganz besonderes sind. Herr Schilling, danke das sie mein Leben mit ihrer tollen Songs begleiten.

Thank YOU Mr. Schilling!! I grew up in the '60's and '70's and was kind of stuck on the genre of that era. But the 1980's produced some incredible music. This is always one song that still captivates me today. Thank you so much for your contribution to some incredible music! I am not a musician, but musicians have always been my favorite people, they give so much to us all. God Bless.

Sehr geehrter Herr Peter Schilling, Ihr brillantes Lied Major Tom Coming Home auf Englisch hat ungefähr 200 meiner französischen Schüler, die Englisch lernen, wertvolles Lernen ermöglicht. Wir haben das Lied studiert, den Refrain erweitert, Rollen mit Walkie-Talkie-Radios gespielt und vieles mehr. Vielen Dank für diese Lernressource. Und ich muss nur 4321 sagen und meine Schüler brechen in spontanes Singen aus... Und natürlich ist dies ein so ikonisches und schönes Lied, das man sich anhören kann. They all adore this song.

I’m an American who just started listening and am just learning a little German and I love your music. You have a beautiful smile . I love your eye contact with the camera! I would love if you did a video telling us about your upbringing. I am dying to know how old you were when you first held a microphone. 🎤 😂. In front of the microphone seems to be your happy place. What was it like before and after the Berlin Wall and how did that affect your lyrics? Also do more videos with English subtitles. ALSO…..tell us the story behind the NY Yankees hats! Thank you!

Hi Peter, das Lied Fehler im System gibt es hier auf KZfaq 2x einmal hier auf deinem offiziellen Kanal und noch ein anderes was langsamer ist, ist das eine andere Version oder hat der Uploader das damals nur runterpitched? Das langsamere mag ich viel lieber. Dieser Song löst in mir so viele Gefühle aus, ich höre den immer wieder gerne. Lieben Gruß :)

Guten Tag Herr Schilling, ich habe am selben Tag, wie Sie Geburtstag, von daher war ich von Kindheit/Jugend (1982) an immer ein großer Fan. Vielleicht ist es das Sternzeichen (Wassermann), dass wir eine besondere Affinität zu Science Fiction/Weltall haben, aber nie den Blick verlieren, für die Probleme auf der Mutter Erde.
