Considering Xbox has repeatedly said they're going to Gamescom and TGS, the criticism of _"no release dates"_ seems dumb. It should be plainly obvious that we're going to get the release dates at one of these upcoming shows. If Xbox was like Sony and Nintendo, with only one show for the entire year, then yeah, they should give release dates - but that's not the case.

RedFall has so much potential. Just transfer RedFall to the other Arkhane Studio and rescue the game. Add all different Vampires, Werewolves, Mummies, Ravens, Zombies that pop out of the ground, Witches, etc. I love the art style. They should just keep working on it and release it again for the Next Xbox in 2027. It was released a good couple years too early.

Sony has basically waved the white flag. Sony has given up trying to compete with Xbox and MS when it comes to software and services. Sony trying to buy Paramount instead of investing that money into studios tells me all i need to know. Sony probably also knows the next Xbox will run Steam and make use of MS's leading AI technology. It's a lost cause. Playstation's popular branding with the casuals is all Sony has left in the tank. And now i'm hearing Sony is pulling funding from VR2. Ouch

Xbox should stop putting their games on PlayStation and put them on Apple’s App Store, pro model iPhones, iPads and Macs are running triple A games, Assassins Creed Shadows will run on iPhone 15 pro. And for the millionth time, when Shinji Makami left Tango all the top talent went with him, there were no idea people left at the studio so no one left with ideas for games.

The reason why Xbox does not reveal or completely nailing that a game is coming to PlayStation or other platforms right off the bat is due to the fact there's a lot that goes into that. Now when you make a game especially an exclusive. testing and building and just spending so many hours and so many man hours and so much collaboration and so much effort into a game to make sure that it will run on your current gen like the x|s. That that's their main focus is making sure that the game is complete for their customer which is Xbox. Now to reiterate the fact that they can't come right out and say that it's going to come to PlayStation is because they don't know. Now if a game is pitched to PlayStation Sony they have to have meetings after meetings and collaborate back and forth and then even see if they do want to sit down and talk about it. While the expectation for that game to come to another platform is hopeful for Xbox but yet it's not a priority. It's an afterthought once the game is launched and it's running great and it's everything that the customer wants and loves to play. Does it become a thought of offering to Sony or switch or steam. Only then can they market and advertise or pitch a deal to set companies Sony Nintendo steam epic. But once that pitch is actually bit on, they sit down they discuss money and how much and this that and the other which takes extensive amount of time. And say they do come to a deal... Now we have to make sure that it'll run on the PlayStation 5 smoothly not only smoothly but flawlessly. Which is up for grabs you never know how the PlayStation firmware and the operating firmware and how Sony is going to allow Xbox to test it before they even launches on PlayStation...

I think MS plan is twofold. Shortgame build player count and engagement to boost subscription numbers. Become a household name and industry leader in software. Lategame once they are on top they will pull ips or go back to exclusivity to further boost subscription numbers. Basically the same cycle that movie streaming services like netflix went through.

I don’t know if I was Microsoft/Xbox, if I paid for a company and closed it and they wanted to go independent I would have them buy the company out from me because technically I bought the company that I wouldn’t let them go. Independent unless they paid to buy it because I had to buy it. so I’m wondering does an independent company still pay Microsoft money to go independent or certain percentage of their profit or games because technically the company belongs to Microsoft because they paid and bought them out from the previous studio?

Let the ponies twist in the wind and have to constantly worry about how long they’ll have to wait to play games that launch in Game Pass on Day 1. FOMO will eventually get the best of them or there will be one or more games that they’re not willing to wait for and then you’ve got a new user/subscriber in the ecosystem. Xbox doesn’t have to tell us exactly when games will go to PS5….it truly DOES NOT AFFECT XBOX PLAYERS IN ANY WAY! There are a lot of 40-somethings that really need to grow up.

Fighting Force Collection has been announced for PS5, Switch and Steam. No Xbox version. Another snub that follows Marvel Vs Capcom. What's the reason for this one? Not that I care about Fighting Force much....I had it back in the PS1 days and did not like it much. Especially compared to Streets of Rage, Final Fight and Die Hard Arcade on Saturn. But is this a sign that third party developers/publishers are now starting to seriously reconsider Xbox as a viable platform?

15:50 hang on. Saying this respectfully. & as one on the Gears hardcore side of the coin rather than the Xbox casuals. It's not just the effect of a new gears trailer for a new gears game. They could've debuted a trailer for 6...& that spike to UE would've never happened. More specifically, it's that the new game that WAS shown, put the focus BACK on Marcus Fenix. Dom being there too was the bonus of all bonuses. That's why you see the spike for UE out of nowhere. Again saying this respectfully. Yes Xbox gamers still to this day over praise & over glorify TC for their mastery of graphics. Sure. Fair. But with proper Gears community members, none of that stuff gives TC a pass. & to be more direct...Kait is not the definitive lead the community wants. She's merely the one TC forced into that role, very much at the expense of both Marcus, AND his kin. There is very much a complete divide in how Gears of War is viewed between proper Xbox gamers, & proper Gears of War veterans. E Day is very much something that is going to live or die off the backs of Gears of War veterans. Especially after a week or 2 post launch...when the Xbox gamers finish their campaign runs & quickly move on to other games. Just as they all did with Gears 5 & Hivebusters.

It’s not that anyone cares about PlayStation players getting to play Xbox games. That’s never been the issue. There is no clear messaging. Nobody knows which games are going to PlayStation. For me and many others, this move gives no reason to purchase games on Xbox. It inherently becomes a game pass machine which will likely affect third party support (which is already an issue with Xbox). This will result in fewer people buying Xbox hardware if they can just wait a year or so and get Xbox games on their PlayStation.

As a Nintendo fanboy I can HONESTLY say the Xbox Showcase was better than the Nintendo Direct. Direct was great but Xbox was better and it wasn’t really even close.
