While searching for his wedding mask, Kafei stumbles upon an execution in the swamps. The Deku Princess is gone, the last person to see her was the Monkey, and the furious King now blames him for her disappearance, regardless of the truth.

@@otakuwannab465 Yeah, I love this song and the Clock Town Choir, but honestly my favorite song is probably Sakon's Arietta. Really the only song I won't listen to is Pamela's Arietta, but that's just because I can't help but think of Shao Tucker from FMAB whenever I listen to it.

Likewise. As a big fan of Deku Palace’s theme, this was the first one of The Majora album I found. And while I am technically criticizing the length by thinking it is a bit short compared to some of the others, this song is still a good one to listen to.

When you're ready to get it staged, you should contact the Pacific Opera Project in Los Angeles. They recently did a video game-themed version of The Magic Flute. This would probably be right up their alley.

The way the female sing's the monkey's part, and the way the Deku King sings sound way better in the 2012 version. EDIT: It turns out they're different singers. Why remake a good thing only to make it worse? lol

I love the music so much more, and I feel like you can hear minor instruments in the background the give the music so much more ground. It's amazing!! And I love the singer who did Kafei, they sounded so good

YES! It has finally been remade! This was my favorite take on the Deku Palace theme, and you guys nailed it as always. I've also been a fan of medieval music for years now, and was always pleasantly surprised to hear bagpipes in the arrangement. Will there be a score made available at some point?

pretty sad this project is dead, the remixes weren't the best musically, but god the singing and the storytelling has always been godlike. This for example really gives you a perspective of what happens, when there's no heroes, when you're all alone, trying to live your life like everyone. Yep, when you get in trouble, no one saves you, and the majority push you down until you have no legs. At least games have heroes, but I'm always enjoying having perspective on what would happen, if things weren't "right" or "fair".

I always imagine that the one who is asking the deku king what the commotion is about is Kafei... For some reason I believe if Kafei were to give up on finding his love, he would diplomatically investigate what would be soon to be tragedies from the 2nd day onwards, we do also know there are access points where kids or people in kid form can get OUT of clocktown without worrying the guards...

why do the vocals seem so out of place in these songs? when they actually sing in unison it's great, but the dialogue/solos sound like a conversation was placed on top of the music. with no purpose

It's called recitative. Every opera mostly consist of recitatives.
