I was in Cala Dor 30 years ago when it was the Olympics. It was the first time I’d been since I was pregnant with my oldest in 1978 in The Hotel Honolulu. I think I found Greece after that and then holidays in the October holidays. Looks smashing.

Like you I went to Santa Ponsa with my pals 35 years ago and went drinking every night for 2 weeks, brings back some great memories, couldn't do it now.Great beach.

As always superb coverage of wherever you are Kev, Santa Ponsa looks nice although we have been to another part of Majorca, I think we might give there a try sometime. And now for a Benidorm story, I was walking along Levante Beach with my new gold lame' speedos on, when I noticed the kids in front of me all scattering, I looked down and saw the S had fallen off. Take care buddy.

Sundays and Tuesdays are market days in Alcudia old town, so it may well be more packed than on other days Kevin. Looking forward to more Santa Ponsa vlogs as I’ve only been once and it was a day trip.

Was I S Ponsa 1992,can't really remember much apart from the apartment was up hundreds of steps and the snorkelling/cliff jumping was amazing, would love to go back.

Same as you, I went there with friends early 80s, I don't remember there being much that side, we used to go out over the other side of the beech. We went for the day in 2016 & I hardly recognised anything! 😎

Kevin you will have to go into Palma to get the bus to Alcudia, I’ve been to Santa Ponsa on day trips on the bus from Palma Nova, a lovely place, hope you find your way to Alcudia, thanks for another great video xxx 👍👍

The square is the best thing in Santa ponsa

The watering hole has a pool out the back, 5 euros you can use it and open a tab for the day.

I left Santa ponsa 30th just missed u eh ure videos magic memories of time spent ther with girlfriend who passed away stayed in sun beach apps Nd hotel jardiniere at square came back with mates for week stayed at rafiro Rey don Jamie half b of board +and a la carte menu included 1st class with roof top pool with view of the bay u must take a look at this hotel brill Davie o Coatbridge !!

Don't know if there is any other way but we stayed in alcudia and travelled in to santa ponsa for the day but came from alcudia to palma to santa ponsa and returned the same way if this helps your doing great with the videos 👏👏

great memories o' Santa Ponsa, are the parakeets still in the park beside the beach? been in the Jaggy a few times. Fat Sams, had the best T-Bone steak ever! Bus Stop! waited over an hour wi another couple for the bus to the market, when the bus stopped a big crew o' Germans piled on the bus middle door and we couldn't get a seat when we got on, had a wee word wi their leader and able to get seated.

It looks so built up now, I remember going to an irish bar at the other end of the town, it was a right turn at the T junction.

As far as I know you will have to catch the bus from palma think there a fast direct bus 🚌

You might have to go to Palma first to get to Alcudia Kevin. Will you be going to "The Square" in Santa Ponsa ? A square of bars with a stage in the middle with live music.

Loved Santa Ponsa but had so much hassle for being English whilst there from the Irish community! Absolutely love the Irish but they didn’t like us! Shame! Great resort!!
