I actually have a video up where I compare these two along with the PI5 S2 and PI7 S2. But for the mystique and ze8000 specifically: the key things that differentiate them are their low end, low end and mid separation, and imaging. The ZE8000 has a more broadly boosted low end - it's gentle, warm, and fuzzy, and considerably boosts the low mids along with it. The Mystique on the other hand has a punchier low end with more slam - still boosts low mids, but less than the ZE8000. For that reason the Mystique has better separation than the 8000. In my opinion, Mystique wins in terms of balance and clarity (also has a better in-app EQ). What the ZE8000 has over it is imaging: the mystique's soundstage can come across as fairly flat and two-dimensional - well done for what it is, but lacks depth. The Ze8000 has some great imaging for a wireless bud and provides a pretty impressive 3D sound stage. Hope that helped! Yes, they'll take calls. I heard a recording of these in talk mode and they sounded really quite good. Battery life is 5 hours. Given they are A/B amped I'd guess that drops with calls and ANC
