Here's a genuine walkthrough showing how to become a Vampire Lord and complete the Dawnguard quest line siding with the Vampires. Played on Skyrim Special Edition, Legendary difficulty, starting from a new game and featuring smart gameplay and informative commentary. (Not a blind playthrough!)

Oh that's strange, why was the video removed and reuploaded? Edit: Just checked his twitter page, apparently the information on feeding was incorrect, so he fixed it and reuploaded the video For the Major Slackers, here's the comment: Okay, I royally f#@ked up the #Skyrim Vampire Lord launch video because of some very ambiguous information on both wikis and even in the game regarding 'Feeding'. So I deleted it and I'm redoing it now. The corrected version should be up before day's end!

Werewolves are for tank/warrior builds while vampire lords are for mage builds

If you are ok with using mods, the Growl mod makes magicka convert into stamina in werewolf form making mage an ok werewolf

Great tip on the kills vs feedings. That makes it easier than a werewolf build.

Idk when i do werewolf I just go on a rampage killing bandits till i have the ability to eat animals. With a werewolf theres also that ring that lets you regen without feeding. Honestly you just gotta build health and stamina. It's honestly just dependant on your play style. I tend to play warriors so I like the wolf more, but this may change my mind.

I think if you're already a vampire the game should recognize that and automatically assume you side with the vampires if you time out.

One thing i found out is that if you have the amulet of gargoyle and kill the second gargoyle summoned, it counts as a kill and it increases the progress of your vampire lord perk exp. just putting it out there

I'm pretty sure that you can reanimate anything you kill and then kill it again to sneak an extra progress point toward the perks real cheeky like.

The kills you need can be achieved by using the drain life spell or by using the bite power attack in melee as a finisher, which could be construed as feeding.

I'm excited to play along, but I started my Masters program and I am working full time so I think I will have to come back later and play through with you this time. I've done your Necromage Vampire, your pure mage, your pure their, and half of lazyboy before I fell off of him. I even tried your two handed build, but I don't have survival mode as I'm on the PS3.

to become a vampire lrod you have to be infected by harkon, or a member of his family, this is done after clearing dimhollow crypt in the dawngaurd DLC, you dont have to be a vampire before talking to harkon, he will just ask if you wish to become a lord when you first talk to him

djredangel I know King Crimson is a band. From part 4 onwards, most of the Stand names are named after music, be it songs or bands. One the names was King Crimson. It’s how I came to recognize the name as well as many others. It’s a meme in the fandom to make “ is that a JoJo reference” memes despite the anime’s broad subject and storyline where everything can be, in fact, a JoJo’s reference even if it was not intended. Sorry for the long rant. I just wanted to ensure I understood what was going on.

Wait, u can walk on water as Vampire lord? I love being vampire bt the downfall is tht magicka and stamina doesn't recovers as much, and when i don't feed my power rises. Bt i die when im in the sun if i don't feed hhahh. And people hate me as my human forms, why thou?...Meow/ also like ur channel

compared to this, werewolf sucks, if you want to transform, equip the ring of hircine, go to magic, choose roh power, you have go wait to get to humanoid form, almost no health regain (without ring of the hunt, which base price is above 10k), you get undressed when back to human...

Werewolf is pretty useless tbh and doesn't give any benefits whatsoever. Vampire Lord gives amazing benefits and can make you even more broken than Vanilla Skyrim before Dawnguard came along. I really only used Werewolf form to kill anyone in a city that I didn't like so that I didn't obtain a bounty! LMAO.

I don’t even know how I became I vampire. I was level three and saw the option and did it didn’t have to do quest or become a vampire it was just a power. I wasn’t offered the power or anything just had it.
