What are you talking about. Urdu was borne in India. The first ever Afsana Nigar was Munshi Premchand. The modern India could never forget Firaq ( Raghupati Sahay Firaq Gorakhpuri ) Doctor Gopi Chand Narang, Krishan Chandar, Rajindar Singh Bedi, Kashmiri Lal Zakir, Khushwant Singh ...and million more. In our country India you will find at every "nukkad" Urdu poet irrespective of caste creed and religion. Urdu is everyone's language.

Annu Kapoor is a living legend and a phenomenon personified. Coming generations will be jealous of us who have had the opportunity to see, hear his reach on Indian languages & culture and watch his performances with spontaneity. I am lucky to have seen him from his days at NSD (play: Chandra Singh urf Chamkoo) till today. May God give him a long life.

अन्नू भाई जब आप भेंसोदा में पढ़ते थे तब आपने मुझे एक पुस्तक दी थी शिवपुरी के कवि मुरारी लाल मधुर की नाम था घरवाली और उसकी कई कविताओं को आपसे सुना था बड़ा अच्छा लगता था पर दुर्भाग्य से एक बार भारी बरसात हुई और वह मेरी पुस्तक जो अनमोल घरोहर थी बाढ़ में बह गई। उसे मैंने काफी संभाल के रखा था जो आपका एक नायाब तोहफा थी

Anu Kapoor ji, namaste. Bade dino baad aapko dekhne sun ne ka mauka mila. Bahut jawan thi tub appke programmes, antakshari vagairah dekha karti thi. Tubse aapse rubaru milke abhivadan karneko dil karta tha. Per koi zaria nahi tha. Mera salam hai aapko. Ab to hum chahe to bhi aapke koi functions me nahi aa sakte. Ab hum pardesi ho gaye hai. Dil ki tammana dil me hi rahegi, aisa lagta hai. Anyways. Thanks for a very melodious and enjoyable evening.
