Make 3.7v to 100000v High voltage generator | high voltage transformer
in this video i have shown how to make a high voltage transformer. Here i have used a old flyback transformer's ferrite core. Anyone can try this at home.
How to Make High voltage transformer at Home.
In this video I show how to make a high voltage boost transformer and generate high voltage. You can use MOSFET z44 or tip122 or D880 to build this circuit.
high voltage generator(DIY high voltage transformer) using transformer and MOSFET z44 or transistor tip122 or D880 . This circuit is often used in shockers and igniters, so be careful.

Good project. The transformer turn ratio is 150. With a tip122 transistor, the output is 15,000v max. The circuit should be tweaked to keep the primary voltage below 90. Otherwise, the transistor will eventually fail.

Use the D209L transistor, it is much more powerful and durable. The D880 lives in this circuit for 30 seconds, then breaks through it, and also heats up. D209L plows like a watchdog and does not heat up even without a radiator. And from it the spark is longer and more powerful. The D880 C-E has a voltage of 60V, the D209L has 700V, so it does not break through!

Not only do I program physical engines but have created Tesla coils, Lasers, Lifters and tons of other high voltage projects. What are your qualifications again? None? @G E T R E K T No, you wrecked yourself. Not only on this comment but the other one you even mentioned yourself those rule only applies for spherical electrodes yet can't seem to realize that would make it a lower voltage here as its breakout due to concentration on a point is far lower. Its almost like you have NO practical experience, shocker.

@G E T R E K T Bro... look at the Fing video... how wide do you think the tip of his thumb is? Mine is flatter and larger at around 8mm... this is like maybe 2/3 that being generous as it comes to such a sharp point. Even using you absolutely unscientific anecdotal measurements you come out to roughly 6kv or so as the arcs produced here are literally only a couple millimeters apart and he jumpers it using tweezers so what exactly are you trying to argue as you are literally arguing with yourself here. This all ignores the ionization properties of the frayed wire allowing lower voltage breakdown. His real arclength here is likely about a mm or two. How much do you really believe this arc is because even saying 10kv is so insanely generous its unreal. You really don't seem to understand the slightest bit about any of this but are just here to argue to look smart while you accomplish the opposite in every single post.

It looked like the center tap went to the base and one wire went to the collector. Is that correct? And the other side of the primary is connected to +3.7V? Also, why did you use 24 and 28 gauge wire for the primary? Why not just use the same gauge for everything? Thanks!

I used to do it when guys wouldnt stay out of my toolboxes at my shop. Several warnings later id do the national geographic thing. The box was taller than i am so id charge the capacitor with a 9volt and reach up and kay it in the top tray after shining it their way. Then leave. Mins later come back and find them sitting on their arse with a messed up look on their face. Ive rigged up remote controls flaslights and lighters as well. Some are 360 volts. Sorry Rusty! Hope your out of therapy by now.

@@Alkimi i had an erector set that had motors pullies steel gerders nuts and bolts etc. Dunno if they are even a thing anymore but my room was automated. Lights, massive stereo system(dad was a musician his concert stage equipment was my stereo system when he wasnt using it 18s and 24" subs , amps etc) Batteries wore out one day. I knew there was power in the outlets and the battery needed power. The battery case had pig tails so if i stick the two wires in the two slots in the outlet ill have power to charge the alkaline non rechargeable batteries. When i got my senses back and bandaged my cauterized burns all over me and what was left of my fingers i learned how to r&r an electrical outlet reset the breaker removed the black soot and burns up the sky blue painted wall slapped fresh paint on it and did it all before mom got home. Odly i ended up as a building contractor and a commercial electrician for years.

@@davidreynolds4684 haha! I have a similar story. My friend had the erector set, I was so jealous, they were so cool! I just had Legos, but my dad was a mechanic and I had all the spare parts you can imagine. I soldered wires directly to a light bulb after determining that my lamp had no electrical components inside it, so it should work if I just connect the outlet directly to the bulb, right? I remember a bright flash and then the bulb exploded. I don't think it even tripped the gfi, and I didn't get shocked (as far as I recall lol) But once when I was 7, I had my finger in between the two prongs while I was plugging something in, and I felt the shock through my entire body for a long time before I was able to pull my hand back. I was surprised at how I seemed to be just fine afterwards. Lately I've been pondering the many memories I have that may in fact be the memory of my death, and how impossible it is to know if/when I died and have since been experiencing something like Dante's Divine Comedy.

pretty cool circuit and project, but i think you may be off on you output voltage as much as 80 or 90 thousand volts, i dont know for sure myself but i would guess you may be getting an output voltage of 10-20, maybe 30 thousand volts?🙂

Thank you for the brilliant idea! I've made what you say, but I have some problems. It doesn't make the electrical arch and can't fire up paper. I'm using tip122, 3x 1,2V rechargeable NI-MH batteries and my ferrite core is from an old TV transformer so it's maybe twice bigger than the shown in the VIDEO. The number of my turns is like shown. Where do you thing is the pormblem? Please give me advice how to fix that problem.

Ну здесь не 100Kv, а максимум 10. Высоковольтное напряжение можно примерно определить так: 1мм - 1Kv. Well, here it’s not 100Kv, but a maximum of 10. High-voltage voltage can be roughly defined as follows: 1mm - 1Kv. But the video is interesting for those who want to make their own lighter.
