Great video❤ I bought a family sized bag of peanut M&M's with the ziploc up top & repurposed it as my change purse & to make sure it doesn't come open I fold it at the top & use a couple of office binder clips.

Yes, you can try just about any wrapper. Some wrappers will melt, others work great. It's just trial and error and every wrapper is a little different, so I say give it a try!

Awesome tutorial! Very detailed and helpful. Do you have suggestions for which type of needle to use for this project and what type and length of stitch. Thank you!

Glad you like it! I didn't use a special needle for this. Any standard needle will work fine. Stitch length -- I set mine at about 2 or 2.5, depending on the machine I'm using.

@@bayhillstudio Thank you! Im anxious to try the zipper tabs. My zippers have never looked good, so I like the tip to use the fabric tabs.

Have you tried using blasts of hot air from a hair dryer to resolve wrinkling?

I haven't. I personally don't mind the wrinkling at all - I even like it - but it sounds like a great idea. I would definitely test it out on a sample piece first. Good luck!

I find the hair dryer makes it easier to turn.

My bag came out really tiny. What seam allowance did you use when you sewed all the way around the bag the last time?

I use a 1/4" seam allowance. The finished bag size will be different for everyone. It will depend on the size of the candy wrapper and on the seam allowance.
