Learn how to make this Graduation Hat Cake using your Giant Cupcake Mould! Super easy and perfect to pair with our Graduation Hat Cake Pops, this is the perfect cake to celebrate all forms of graduation!

MOST of my templates are free, however these ones (which are totally optional) took a LONG time to make, and required the purchase of images. The USD.99c fee is just to help us recover costs associated with the creation of this template. This template contains BOTH the printable images for the giant graduation hat cupcake, and the mini graduation hat cakepops. You can choose from"Happy Graduation" or "Congratulations on your Graduation" as text for this printable, and they will appear instantly once payment clears.
Tools and Equipment:
11" round cake board (I iced mine in red fondant)
8" square cake board (I iced mine in black fondant, and edged it with black ribbon)
Graduation scroll printable *Optional* (Link above and below)
2 knives
Ingredients:
Black fondant
Red fondant (or choose your school colours)
Melted dark chocolate
Giant chocolate cupcake case (I used black candy melts - link to tutorial below)
Giant cupcake cooked, iced and stacked as per our giant cupcake basics series (links below)
I used chocolate ganache frosting - link top my recipe below

Made this for my brothers college graduation, it turned out awesome! I made the tassel a little different though. I used food coloring with vanilla cake so when the cake was cut into it was layers of his school colors with ganache and fresh whip cream. Loved!
