I can see this being relatively simple to expand until it's wide enough to bend sheet metal, too - a second frame on the other end and longer rollers with bearings. You've given me ideas for the day I finally have somewhere to use larger tools where they won't get stolen out of my backyard (renting and there's no shed - people keep stealing my tools)

The ingenuity of what asians can make from scrap metal is beyond me, we throw it out, they build a metal bender from scrap! I take my hat off to you. incredible machinery.Having been there and see what they can do with a hammer a piece of old log sitting by the side of the road and producing part for cars because they can not afford to buy them is incredible. We need to learn from this.

Nice video and a very useful piece of kit. I made one similar around 50 years ago. The first version had a smooth roller as yours but I experienced slippage on thicker material than that shown in your example so on V2 I knurled the outer surface of the hand operated roller and found that the knurl gave that extra bit of grip.

SUPER BON . J'adore le principe de partir de morceaux de fer et a la fin trouver une petite machine fonctionnant super bien . C'est ingénieux bien pensé fonctionnelle . Dommage que je ne puis mettre 100 pouces bleu sinon je l'aurais fait . Je m'abonne !😉

I swear, if I had knowledge of how to weld, and a Good Place (with decent prices) for NEW STEEL... I'd build just about every one of your "Homemade Tools"! You are a GENIUS and obviously a SCHOLAR! -Every Video, BLOWS MY MIND... Do you have any "plans" on a "Homemade" Mill or Lathe for Steel & Aluminum?
