We hear a lot about Potato Bags (I show how to make one with this template in another video!) and there are lots of versions out there but we hardly ever hear about popping plain popcorn kernels in the microwave. I know we all have some of those pre-packaged popcorn bags that are not the healthiest or freshest so lets make some that’s better!
I’ll show how to make a Popcorn Bag perfect for the microwave with no unfinished seams (even on the boxed bottoms!). Finished seams are better for food and the bag will stay fresher/cleaner longer. You can wash it but you won't need to wash each time you use it. To make this even better for popcorn, I show how to make a bag that 'stands up' when it's full. I also add a little strap so it's easy and safe to remove from the microwave when it's still hot.
Why Popcorn with my Popcorn Bag vs. Pre-Packaged Popcorn:
1. It's fresher.
2. It's healthier.
3. It's chemical free.
4. It's cheaper!
5. After popping, add your own butter or spray and season to taste.
6. Plus, it's just fun!
Instead of buying those pre-packaged bags full of oil, salt, preservatives and chemicals, you only need 1/2 cup of plain popcorn kernels found most anywhere.
