Louise, something I thought you might find helpful that I learned from the channel BM Sculpture. If your resin starts to go a little yellow, put just the tiniest little bit of blue coloring in it and it will counteract the yellowing.

Or purple will do it better as purple is opposite yellow on the colour wheel and cancels out the opposite colour, blue does work but is better for cancelling out orange but both are good

I am a river rock freek and I am in love with that table. I liked the fountain idea best I think. I had a vision of birds taking a cooling shower on a hot summer day and that made me smile.

Hello Louise, so glad I've found you. The way you present and your voice make for a very enjoyable and inspirational lesson. I've been trying to watch other people but the pace and voice make it overwhelming and difficult to absorb. After listening and watching you ,im going to attempt resin again. I really liked it with the fountain. With a larger center hole you coulld even add a small fish pond to that table. The floating canes were cute and it reminded me how many years ago my mom had a floating candle table and our cat used to flip the candles over and drink the candle water 😅

There are all kinds of Fountain accessories and Fountain parts that would work wonderfully and I think putting some more of those rocks in that bowl and then lighting the candles that would be pretty too

OH, LOUISE! This is just *GORGEOUS!* I *love* rocks! When you didn't post last Sunday, I was concerned you were sick, but then thought...nooo (the way you say it), she's probably working on something BIG! So happy I was right! 💕😊💕 Very clever way to mount the brackets, Lou! I was wondering how you were going to get through those rocks! 😊 Your Antherium is gorgeous! I love fountains, so that is what I'd probably do with a table like this. Totally awesome table! You know what? You could make a bowl - from resin! - that wouldn't clash with the colors of the table! Maybe use metallic powders...?

Such a fun idea! Oh my goodness you came up with so many ideas to put in the centre. I love it. The large plants in the centre look pretty but gave me a laugh. Kept thinking about pushing the leaves out of the way to see my husband sitting on the other side of table… ❤

Love this! I love pretty rocks. All of them from river rocks to crystals and gems. And what a great way to use up leftover resin. I have a lot of leftover that’s yellowing 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely love this table!❤the stones look beautiful, every detail shows. I’ve a little solar fountain and I took the sprinkler off it so it doesn’t splash. It’s in a small bowl on a wall and was losing water. Thank you very much.☺️💐

Watch out for bubbling of the resin as well. I covered an outdoor table in resin only to have the resin bubble.

Its so beautiful Louise 😍 I heard that if you add a very slight blue tint, it stops or slows the yellowing. You would have to investigate further. I've never tried it.

This is gorgeous, Louise! I'm now very tempted to try this with several er... pebbles that might have er... accidentally fallen into my pockets when I went to Dungeness recently... Regarding resin yellowing, yes it's inevitable unfortunately and it being outdoors only accelerates the process. But I've always wondered if - when it does reach that point - if giving it a another *_lilac-tinted_* thin resin flood-coat would solve it, as being the opposite on the colour wheel, it might redress the balance of the yellow and just look 'neutral' again? It seems such a shame for the life of resin products to be so short - I'm also thinking of eg brides who've preserved their wedding bouquets in resin or other projects where people were hoping to preserve something for a long time, only for it to look jaded quite quickly... I've not yet _tested_ this theory, but plan to unless you get there first! 🤗

This is absolutely stunning I love it . There is a question, if you left it out in the sun would it actually start to go soft despite the stones in it ? I was just thinking ahead because of last summer 2022 when it was extremely boiling hot. Would it effect the table ?

Thank you. I wondered the same thing. It went through some very hot days early on in the summer (before summer decided to abandon us!) and it still looks exactly the same. No bending or yellowing (though I’m sure the yellowing will happen eventually). I use this table for my coffee every morning in the garden so I am able to keep a close eye on it.

Great question, no it hasn’t turned yellow and it is still in my garden. Though living in England it doesn’t actually see much sun 🤣

How long did you let it cure before placing it outside with the pots inside?

Hi Tammy. I was able to use it straight away because the rocks made it super strong. It has a heavy pot in and it’s been very hot and the table is fine.
