Hi...
After a long time I'm back with a new video. In this video I tried to show you how to make a very necessary "hand planer bench". I made a mechanism to make chipping depth adjustment easier to increase usability. This mechanism not only makes our work easier, but also increases the robustness as it is not connected from a single point. I made this workbench according to the hand planer I have, and I drew my drawings accordingly and prepared the dimensions accordingly.

I have seen many videos on KZfaq and some awesome projects. After buying a festool HL 850 planer recently and since they stopped making the bench unit started looking at other ideas. What you have designed and made is the very best one I have seen. Great making skill and totally appreciate the process and project. Excellent behold saying 👏👏👏👏👏

Из того, что я видел, это пожалуй лучшее решение, как из электрорубанка сделать станок с регулировкой глубины строгания. Отличная работа, осталось еще приделать упор с регулировкой угла строгания. 👍👋

Hola. En primer lugar, me gustaría agradecerte y recordarte que puedes encontrar planos en PDF en todos mis videos. Este sistema se puede utilizar para todas las cepilladoras manuales de 8 cm. Solo se deben cambiar los patrones que he dado. Se pueden usar otras dimensiones exactamente. Puede quitar fácilmente la herramienta cuando sea necesario. No hay nada que impida esto. Elinize sağlık. Çok işe yarar bir alet yapmışsınız. El planyasi bu alet olmadan bu kadar düzgün traslayamiyor kullanmak zor. Ya çok alıyor ya az. Alt yazıyı KZfaq çevirmiş herhalde. İşkence aletini (clamp) torturer olarak çevirmiş 😀

Merhaba. Öncelikle teşekkür ederim. Ben de aynı sizin gibi düşünerek bu sistemi yaptım. El planyası güzel bir alet ama elde kullanınca tam düzgün iş çıkaramıyor. Altyazıda bazı hatalar oluyor. Doğrusu çeviri sonrasında her cümleyi okumuyorum. Bu arada Türkçe altyazı da mevcut.

Для ламелей пойдёт. А щит после склейки или широкую доску этот станочек уже не пропустит. Слишком малое применение в столярке. Но станочек хороший 👍

Hello. Firstly, thank you. I share PDF plans in the description section of all my videos. Have you looked there? Since my machine is Stanley brand, I made it according to this machine. But you can also use it for einhell with minor changes. Blade sizes must be the same.

Un consejo, la mano no la debes pasar apoyada sobre las cuchillas es cuestión de tiempo que te cepilles algun dedo. con la longitud que tiene la madera que usas en la demostración no tienes problemas para poder guiarla sin pasar la mano sobre las cuchillas. Dicho esto espectacular trabajo de herramienta casera.

Hi, Amazing build! and the free plans are much appreciated. I just have one question: How do you print them out? is there a specific scale I need to pick or a paper sheet size? I am printing with A4 paper on a common printer but the drawing comes out much smaller than needed. Any sugestions? Thanks in advance!

Hello. First of all, thank you very much... The dimensions have been adjusted to be used in the same way. If there are options such as "fit" when printing, it may therefore come out small. Deselect this option and select "actual size". You can use the pattern drawings I use in the same way.

@ yeah I am printing at 100% scale which I believe is the equivalent to "actual size" but it still comes out small... I'll play around with it and let you know. Thank you for your prompt response!

Die Maschine von Stanley läuft ja nur wenn entriegelt und der Einschaltknopf kontinuierlich gehalten wird. Wie wurde dieses "Problem" gelöst ? Den übrigen Aufbau habe ich fertig. Dank für deine Konstruktion .😉

Hallo. Wie Sie sagten, funktioniert es durch ständiges Drücken des Auslösers. Ich habe das gelöst, indem ich Plastikklemmen verwendet habe... Als ich das Video vorbereitet habe, habe ich die Maschine gestartet, indem ich das Kabel ein- und ausgesteckt habe. Später fügte ich jedoch am Ende der Werkbank eine Buchse für das Stromkabel (eine der für Computer verwendeten Buchsen), einen 16-A-Ein-/Aus-Schalter und eine Steckdose hinzu, in die ich das Kabel des Werkzeugs einstecken konnte. Dadurch war die Bedienung sehr angenehm.

Something I can't work out - surely the threaded insert in the adjustable plate moves vertically up and down as the threaded rod is turned, but the hole through which the rod passes near the knob is vertically stationary. So, does the rod not have to bend? Or only by a very small amount since the amount of vertical movement is very small?

Hello. Good point... Actually, you answered your question yourself. Since there is a small up and down movement, the gear shaft does not force much. But there is one more detail. The hole in the fixed part is elliptical. That is, it is extended upwards and downwards. Pay attention to item 10 in the dimension sheet. Eline sağlık ustam her el planyasının dışı aynı değil değilmi? Yani bir standart yok markadan markaya farkediyor galiba .. bende einhell in el planyası var senin kisi dewalt veya stanley galiba.. o yüzden verdiğin pdf ye göre yapamayacağım galiba ?

Merhaba Fatih bey. Öncelikle teşekkür ederim. Benim makinem Stanley. Farklılık vardır kesin. Ancak o kısmı kendi makinenize göre değiştirebilirsiniz. Biraz uğraştırıcı olur ama yapılır bence. isterseniz benim plana göre yapın ve etkileyen yerleri belirleyip kesin. Makine tablası aynı ölçüde olabilir ama vida yerleri ve talaş atma kısımları değişik olabilir.
