Would you recommend the same technique for cedar, or would you do something different?

Bark or other more three dimensional objects need the molding compoud to be thicker. I tend to roll it in a ball and press it lightly with a piece of plexiglass to flatten it slightly. Then gently press in my 3D object. I'll try to do another video soon.
