I like this idea. I have several pages of verses on topics that I needed God’s help with personally such as fear and patience and salvation. I could see doing this for those verses and many others. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yes! Love this! And your Bible is so pretty 💜 I’ve been doing the same in my Bibles bcz it’s an instructional manual for me, and I always need to reference it. The only difference is my themes are a lil broader. Like sin, faith, doctrine, salvation, end times, God’s character, prayer, family, fruits of the spirit, etc. Then, whatever falls under that category, I tab accordingly. So Ten Commandments and Trinity would be examples of doctrine. I’ve never been into tabbing the books of the Bible. This is really what works for me. I think you’ll like it too 😊

Good video! God bless your journey with your new Bible! I saw a similar video where the guy put all the tabs for the same topics "behind" each other, rather than spreading them out. I saw another where he didn't use tabs, but marked a little bit of the edge (about the same width as a tab) with colored rectangles to show where the verses were for that topic. I'm not a tab fan, myself, but I do use colored strips like Post Its. Last, I don't highlight the whole verse. I just draw a vertical line next to it. That way, if it belongs to more than one topic, I can just draw a different colored line next to it. God bless you big time! ❤

Check out the Thompson Chain Reference Bible. I have the KJV Kirkbride Version. Another is the Naves Topical Topical Bible - A Digest of the Holy Scriptures by Moody Press From the title page "More Than Twenty Thousand Topics and Subtopics ... Over One Hundred Thousand References to the Scriptures". (I found my copies of these at a used bookstore.)

Thank you for the suggestions! 😊. I jus looked up the Naves Topical Bible and it looks so interesting and I have never heard of it either. I just recently got the Thompson Chain Reference Bible and I need to put it to use.
