"make a wish." "please forgive me." This absolutely killed me. You made me feel all his pain, all his sorrow, all his fear. What I hated about his story is that because of the fact he was a really powerful being, people forgot he was also an orphaned child that never got to live his childhood. He never got to make friends, fall in love, decide what to do with life. At first he was a threat and later God's replacement. He never got to see what he wanted from life. His God storyline was predictable and really pissed me off because he never got to be just Jack. Such a huge burden for a child to carry. Anyway, this is a masterpiece. I can't see what I am writing because of the tears. You really touched the core of Jack Kline. You are a masterful editor and I missed your videos so much. I am so sorry for the rambling. I will let you be and watch this piece of art again and again 😭

Thank you sooo much dear, that means a lot! ♥️ I do have to disagree a bit tho, bc i think in the end he got from life what he wanted, he is doing good, he is good. And he didn't refer himself as a new god, he simply said "I'm still me", just Jack, and i believe that's what fulfilled his character arc for me. But i do see what you mean :')

Well said. You took the words right out of my mouth. And the song they chose was excellent as well, really drove home all the powerful scenes they were showing. Fantastic video, will definitely be rewatching it again and again.

**takes deep breath** you'll never know how much I love this video. Jack was (is) something that for me the show was missing, when he go introduced everything started to feel better for me and it's all due to this baby :') I'm so so happy that you managed to finish this video. I'll definitely rewatch it non stop, also it's so damn inspiring!! you make me want to make videos with complicated voice over structure again. I love the quietness of the video and how graualy it builds up to be louder and messier and perfect! it fits so well to Jack's problem with the voices and his lack of control. And then it goes quiet again with the "make a wish" part, i don't know why these kind of things always make me emotional but the do. The way you incorporated, the pain, the confusion, those tender moments in between. it's just wonderful. THE PARALLELS!!! the internal movement, how damn good it looks!! i?m just on awe of your talent. You know i miss your videos a lot and I'm just so happy this one it's already out there :') THE ENDING!!!! **dead** also sorry for the vague and long comment xDD

*i love Jack with my whole heart* .... i just cannot describe it. i want to protect him and love him forever and i can't believe we're never gonna see him again. he was the purest and kindest character in this show and i didn't know i needed this baby angel until i met him. he is so underrated and people need to appreciate this soft baby angel more, so THANK YOU fo this. the way you broke down his character, all the pain, the sorrow, the fear, the guilt, the will to do good and be better.... is just chef's kiss. you have no idea what it means to me. you're a brilliant editor and i missed your videos and the way you edit characters, cause you just always manage to get to their core. you're amazing

this is really *beautiful* his character arc was the best in the latest season tbh, still hoped they make more with his amazing character but no, it was a shame, but your video portrayed him so perfectly, the way he wanted to be good and never wanted to hurt anyone, all the emotions are here. this video is pure *perfection* there are no other words for it.

I stopped watching SPN a long time ago but you made me feel like I knew this character. You always do characters justice even if I’m not familiar with them. You’re able to build such an atmosphere with your work that always grips me. You always blow me away.

This is gorgeous! Amazing job vidding this wonderful character. Jack was so sweet and so innocent! (Yes, even though he did bad stuff. Fight me.) Alexander Calvert was an excellent addition to the show and this tribute to his character is perfect

i feel like i didn't breathe for 3 minutes, and i don't even know who this is :'D the music, woah the music! and what you did with it. the editing as always so perfect and on point... man, you see these videos and they look like they emerged just ready made that's just how organic and perfectly fitting everything feels. that's how i feel watching this - like it was scattered, in pieces, and now it's finally the way it fit together all along absolutely stunning ❤️

oh anja, i've missed your videos. your execution of this style of character study has always been incredibly enviable, but there's something about this one - the assurance in your cuts and scene selections. a restraint that really allows the emotional arc of the video to lift to the forefront and compel me all the way through. i love the way you allow the gravity of certain scenes full justice by returning to them over and over. and your pacing! you have mastered the gradual build to an emotional peak. i am so floored by this.
