Thanks for another great project. I love how you use wire instead of fireline, etc. I use both, but I see how this is nice for a beginner. I have a ton of Montees to use.

a few years ago i bought some 4mm Rose Montess in Crystal Gold and didnt know whatto do with them, thank you for this video but tell me with these small ones will the crystals not full out easy. I think thats why i didnt use them before.

Glad you found a use for your Montees! The crystals should not fall out; one thing you can do is make sure the metal claws on them are shut tight, and tighten them up gently with flat nose or chain nose pliers.

Hi Donna! Thanks for watching. Some beaders use wire guards, some do not. Some use french wire instead, or nothing at all. I like showing different alternatives... Beaded projects don't necessarily need additional protection in that area - unless perhaps it's thread that's being use or a thinner wire, or a clasp loop that's a little 'rough around the edges." The .014 diameter Soft Flex is made up of numerous pieces of stainless steel wire all wrapped together and coated in nylon - and it's quite strong. In this case, there would be no sharp edges rubbing up against it to wear it away since the loops of the clasp of of a nice clean quality.
