Another episode of how to make ahead embellishment for junk journals. This is super quick and easy but is a big time saver for me.
I might have a ridiculous stash of fussy cut napkins. I mean a really ridiculous amount of them. And I wasn't using them because they were little pieces fussy cut and you know, napkins want you to be gentle, and I just let them sit in the drawer. Well then I decided to prep a bunch of them on book pages and it has become a real time saver for me. I can add some of my fabdangle scraps or a bit of cheesecloth and glue this on a journaling card or an envelope and cut my creating time in half.

Just got offered this video by KZfaq, and I'm grateful for it. Who would have thunk of fussy cutting napkins ahead of time? You, that's who. I am astonished by your THREE drawers of fussy cut napkin images. I'm gonna do that, probably right now.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I am still tryng to get over the fact that you 'fussy cut' napkins, OMG, lol ;) I do not think I have the patience nor the eyesight for that but you have one amazing collection, wow. These are all quite beautiful. I am just getting used to the idea that a napkin has 3 layers :)

Wowsers - Those drawers!!! 😍😍😍 I cant even imagine doing that much fussy cutting lol. I tear mine and glue down. I’ve never tried fussy cutting. Love the cleaner look it gives - very time consuming though lol. Love your work!!! TFS Hugs, Sharon 🌷💜

Great stuff. I have wondered if the ironed on napkins would hold up. I like how you did yours. You’ve given me an idea on how to use up all my crazy napkins. I’m not going to fussy cut the images though - what a lot of work! Good on ya. I like the way yours came out.

@@SusanTaylorBrown a lot of my YT messages got sent to my spam folder (grrrr). Just now seeing this. I feel like if they aren't glued down, they aren't going to stay as long - though I do know, after time (because I've been around a LONG time, lol) that glue and tape also dry out! I will stick to gluing my napkins down! As for fussy cutting, it's funny - I've seen people fussy cut things I'd never think of fussy cutting so I like seeing what others do. However - it's a bummer about your shoulder bothering you! I have 2 bum shoulders (and knees and feet and now getting more arthritis in my hands - sucks getting old!) but I spread it out over evenings so it works. Thank you for sharing (and responding!). You don’t have to fussy cut napkins. If you go around the edge with a paintbrush dipped in water you can tear them, gently of course. When you glue them the torn edges don’t show. Try it.

OMG that’s a lot of cutouts. I’m working on building up a supply of various cards and tags in a nature botanical style. I have lots of books to cut up. I think I’ll try napkins on text or music pages. Thanks for the idea.
