Bougainvillea is the genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes and trees. These are excellent plants to grow in hot summer season and produces thousands of thin papery flowers. Cutting method is very unique in this plant as it is very hardy in nature. Here the exact methods of air layering cutting process are shown which will immensely helpful for viewers to take cuttings of this plant.
Bougainvillea is a very attractive genus for Bonsai making people. The plant can be grown both as indoor house plant or as outdoor garden plant. It is a drought resistant plant and can be grown in very dry areas.

Hi, uve inspired me to try airlayering on bougainvillea thank you. Ive done airlayering with Cocopeat and in 1 month it grew beautiful roots. Ive potted it up but now how long do i keep in shade before moving out into sun.. Ive done it on curry leaf plant but only 1 side roots grew.... Wat do u think will it grow or is it a fail

You teach well . From start to result . That's really Good ... it passion will transfer many other that we all want. Now a days I started home gardening . 20 type of rose from seed . Lotus seed . Sunfloow seed. Wall climding rose seed . 10 summer FLOWER. 8 summer vegitable . Many more like . Alwa Stabbary Chunku. Planning for armold and 6 to 8 dry fruit tree. Thanks to u .

This is actually another technique of marcotting which I have been doing ages ago. Using wet moss is much easier than the " dough".

Thank you so much for sharing this, it is ingenious. I only discovered your channel yesterday but am avidly devouring your videos during the Covid 19 lockdown. I have some questions for you, I really hope you see this and reply. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa; our seasons are different to yours; what season are you cutting the plant, is it spring? Can the plant be cut earlier if you have a greenhouse? Johannesburg is 6000 feet above sea level so we can get quite cold in winter nights. Kind Regards Stevie Davies

He's doing it in winters .. temperature would be around somewhere 10-12 degrees celcius
