This is my method for making a flower cane with many petals - the basic blend, the construction of a multi-petal, and then the assembly of a cane from it. I use this for my aster or daisy canes in all sorts of colours - including this imaginary blue one - and for my sunflowers in those great late summer yellows, oranges, and reds.

I'm totally curious if it's a purple blue? I had these great dark purple red sunflowers, the first time I had ever seen them in anything other than yellow or yellow orange.
