Make an Easy Patriotic Ribbon Wreath/All Ribbon Wreath/Front Door Wreath Ideas

In this video I show how to make a very easy wreath with all wired ribbon.
Supplies:
1 14 inch Dollar Tree wire frame
12 pipecleaners or zip ties
12 pieces of 2.5 inch wired ribbon
12 pieces of 1.5 inch wired ribbon
All ribbon pieces cut at 29 inches

Yay! Bows can be intimidating, I wouldn't make them for a long time because I never liked how mine looked. With some patience and practice I finally got my confidence! I'm glad the tutorial helped you! 😁❤

First of all thank you for sharing.. kind of like an easy one cuz I give them away for gifts and sometimes at the last minute. Yours turned out great btw. Secondly, I LOVE your home...looks like you are off to yourselves and that is what I am looking for. What state are you in? I am in Iowa, but I might relocate since I have been here all of my life. 😊

Thank you! Yes, very easy and you could make one quickly in a pinch! I'm in NC. Our lot is heavily wooded and we're at the end of a very small, quiet neighborhood. Not in the middle of nowhere, but second best for now. Maybe some day! 🙂

Love them could you use 20inches to make the bows to get more out of the ribbon

It might be easier with a smaller frame to make sure you have enough coverage with the shorter ribbon. I might try making a mini wreath and figure out the ribbon length on that.

Thank you! You could, but you'll run into the problem of the ribbon drooping since its not wired. I've seen people say they spray fabric stiffener/starch or even hairspray to help keep unwired ribbon from doing that, so you can definitely try! ❤

great wreaths. If using an 8 inch wreath with 3 sections. what would be the best length for the ribbons and how many of each? Tks much

I'll be honest - I've tried a few different ways to use a smaller frame and have had difficulty with either the middle of the wreath gets filled in or the ribbon pieces were ridiculously small lol. Still haven't perfected that yet 🤣

Can you use non wired ribbon?

I wouldn't recommend it as it would get floppy. You could try using a fabric stiffener or even hairspray to help keep it's shape, but it may still flop over time.
