I don't know if you know this but Pulp is a main ingredient that were supposed to be consuming for our vitamins and nutrients. I don't know why Americans get rid of the pulp which is the best important thing that we're supposed to be consuming.

Yes your absolutely right, is why I only occasionally make carrot juice. I strongly believe in carrot juice when detoxing or healing from deceases, having said that I mostly do enjoy chewing my carrots on a daily basis 👍🥰.

I save the pulp for carrot muffins or carrot cake !

😮 you are so correct there’s no hands and whatever is about it maybe she just doesn’t know it or she just doesn’t like that pulp taste but right on value are definitely right about that from Hawaii

Hi Rosie, God bless your mom. I have a suggestion that I learned from a youtuber. When making your own juices or nut mills. Only pour out only half the batch at a time and squeeze. Then do the other half. This yields more juice/ milk because you have more control and grip then when it's packed from the full batch. Hope you try it

Thank you what a great idea, my hands thank you lol will try when doing my cauliflower rice as well... that one is really hard :-).

Yes, I have noticed this when making my nut milk. I used to pour it all out in the nut milk bag at once too.

You don’t need to strain it. Just have it as a smoothie. Less waste

Thank you for this! I, just, bought at push carts under the El (Elevated for none NY'ers) 2 bags of Baby Carrots, 3 packs of Blueberries, and 2 Mangoes, Just blended them turmeric a can of Glucogon, (ran through garlic squeezer) garlic, ginger, lemon juice (no fresh), and ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar). I think I saw making carrot juice in a blender before. Yours stood out this time!👍😈😚 I been diabetic since 1974, and heavy smoker. Quit 2007 (wasn't writing it down) 😎

not sure if it’s a blender issue - but many you tube videos show blenders completely liquify the carrots so you don’t have to spend the time straining and throwing out the healthy fiber parts.

Hi, can you be more specific about how many carrots did you put in there? And also did you say a half a cup or a cup of water? I’d appreciate it from Hawaii.
@LivingRawwithRosie14 ай бұрын
Yes its 1/2 cup water and 2 1/2 cups baby carrots, hope this helps 👍.

What was the speed you used. I just bought that same blender and literally have like 5 pounds of carrots
@LivingRawwithRosie14 жыл бұрын
khwhi1 I usually start with a low setting and slowly move it up to the highest setting , 5 pound is awesome 👍💖.

Why would you discard the fibre. Isn’t that the bits that’s good for you
@LivingRawwithRosie16 ай бұрын
Yes absolutely the fiber is the best part but this is only for when we are doing juice fast 👍.

Nice video and caring story about relatives, you seem to have a background in nutrition and nursing. My question, what do you do with the pulp, I have a hand blender and I mix my pulp with water, a small amount of sweetener and water and this blend is as tasty as the carrot juice blend and may be more nutritious because of the higher fiber, but the nutrition may even out because you are using more water.

b hayes Wow I must try it that way, at the moment I am using it in my compost because I'm preparing my soil for next year. I also love making carrot cake with❤️ 👏👍😁

I know this is old but do you find leaving the skin on the carrots makes the juice bitter?
@LivingRawwithRosie14 ай бұрын
Yes but carrots are so sweet it balances the flavor👍.

You washed your hands, but you didn't wash the carrots
@LivingRawwithRosie14 жыл бұрын
Terry James Yes I do not sometimes wash my organic veggies, due to it helping me get vitamin B-12 . Vitamin B-12 is a fesis bacteria that we need and lives in the large intestine, unfortunately the way we usually get it is through meats, eggs, and dairy, the way I get it, is by the bacteria in the soil the veggies are grown in and sometimes what ever other bacteria it picks up on the way. Sounds grossly I know but true, most plant based people also follow this technic since we don’t eat animal products. Great question 👏👍.

@@LivingRawwithRosie1 why not take supplements to get your B12 instead of relying on bacteria?
@LivingRawwithRosie13 жыл бұрын
Stephanie Treasure Hey 👋 Steph I also take my kind vitamin B12 spray, just Incase my body is not absorbing enough bacteria from foods.
