I just had an idea! I agree with only using wax on your candles... how about if you make a dark brown block (similar to a candy bar) then after the wax dries, shave it using a fine cheese grater/zester over top of the whipped cream to either look like a brown sugar or even shaved chocolate

It's just uncoloured wax.

Do you use the same fragrance for the whipped wax or a different fragrance. I have been trying to figure this out for a while now.

Sometimes I change it, sometimes it's the same and sometimes it's fragrance free. Play around.
