Here's one for you. Im 54 and a woman I am seriously interested in these days, who is someone I have known my entire life because we grew up and went to school together. I remembered a little paper mache sphinx she made in... ready for this!! 4th grade over 40 years ago. My girl was broke these days, she ask me to buy a medicine for her. I know she's devastated and no one she could turn to. So bought her med and groceries as well. I bought her all her favorite food and even finger foods she like. And then when I am about on my way home she texted me with the sweetest thank you from her. I enjoyed listening to this, and felt comforted to hear these things and know that they are all things that I already do and say to and for a very special God loving woman that is in my life, she LOVES flowers, and I show up with flowers when she least expects it. Weather its a long drive, or a walk around the lake, or standing and sitting next to each other at church or at a movie, I am mindful of everything she likes and doesn't like, through tons and tons of communication, I took me a few months to say I Love you to her, but when I did say it, i could see in her eyes that it ment alot to her, she says i treat her like a queen, I leave her hand written notes every time I go, ive put them on the counter by her morning coffee cup, ive put a simple and sweet, Good morning Darling, thinkin about you, have a wonderful day xoxoxo with heart around, it on a post it note and placed on her laptop screen,, to put an extra smile on her face at work. I wrote I LOVE YOU using "x's" & "O's" on a post it and placed it eye level in her bathroom mirror so she can see it while she's getting ready each morning... i did that weeks ago and its still there, she has saved every hand written note I've given her, We went to the Arberadum last month to look at all the CHRISTmas lights and roast marshmallows by an open fire i help her make her smore while my marshmallow had ignited completely and made a bright flame, we both laughed about it while i ate my charcoaled marshmallow. Then we walked up on this overlook that hadn't been shoveled yet, but the was a speaker playing some beautiful music... gave her a soft kiss on the cheek and asked her if she'd like to dance she smiled big and nodded, so we danced and danced and smiled and laughed and danced some more,,, then these ladies walked near us and told us we looked like a couple right out of a Hallmark movie, we both smiled and then danced some more, it has been over six months that we've been seeing each other and three weeks ago while standing outside my car in a target parking lot she gave me a hug like we always do, but she gently squeezed me extra tight and put her hands softly behind my neck, as she looked me straight in the eyes and said "Jeffrey Michael I LOVE YOU, VERY MUCH" My heart melted and felt light as a feather when i heard her say those words to me, She is truely a blessing, and I thank God everyday that her and I met, I am so grateful!!!!

When I wrote a texto to my girlfriend or my "almost" girlfriend, I often started by saying something like: "Hello my beautiful angel", "Good afternoon my sunshine", "Hi my beautiful rose", "Good night my full shining moon", etc. And if the girl had Moroccan origins, for instance, I would say something like: "Bon matin my beautiful moroccan sun". So I tried to vary the way to call her, rather than all the time using: "Hello my love" or "Allô mon amour", for instance.

I met my lady friend and her mom at church and we all sat together we exchanged phone numbers and let each other know when our birthdays are I asked her what time I can call her tomorrow which is Monday she said she calls her cousin at 7pm so I asked her if i can call her at 5pm and she said yes I am going to tell her how beautiful she looked at church we are going to get together this week or next for 2-3 hours so we can get to know each other better and i am going to introduce her to my mom.She is a cancer survivor and is going thru chemo so I sat with her mom today so if she had to go to the restroom because she was coughing from her chemo treatment she could get out to go to the restroom easier she said I could sit with her when she got over the coughing from chemo treatment which will be very soon she was very considerate and is a very devout christian as is her mom and myself

Im a nervous guy usually. There's a lady Im trying to court at the moment and it appears to be going well other than a slip up for a week or so where real life was kicking my butt and I was leaning on her too much as a distraction. Managed to pick myself up on it and steer things back on course. My nerves have made it difficult to meet people, and my current group of friends are mostly people I've known for 20+ years. Decided to buy her some roses recently both because she's always doing things for people and deserves someone to buy her flowers sometimes, and as a subtle way of showing my interest. Seemed to go over well. During our subsequent conversation the topic of friends came up as did why Im a bit nervous about letting new people in my life (flowed organically in that direction, I didn't just blurt it). It was at this point my confidence in myself following the well received flowers grew enough to tell her I'm glad I met her and she's the 1st new person I've wanted in my life for a long time (she's my neighbor and we'd met by her knocking on my door at 1 a.m. one morning 'cos she'd locked herself out of her house, and then asking if I wanted some drinks (and yes, I do suspect Im an idiot for not realizing that was probably something other than what was stated)). Is the "you're the 1st new person I've met in a long time that I want in my life" comment a good, bad, or other idea? Im pretty sure it was welcomed, but she's also polite and quick witted. It was completely honest on my part, and also an attempt to let her know I was at least internally receptive to a bunch of what I suspect were signals over the few months prior. Pretty sure she got it. Things appear to be going extra well since that day; she's been more touchy/hands on since,.... stroking of my arm, hands touching when passing items, even got a big, close hug that she started, I returned tentatively at 1st (my nerves) then leaned into harder so as to not make her think I was disinterested, and then her leaning into harder again. I like to have hope she may be interested, but Im a little clueless and always 2nd guess what I see as potential signals/signs/cues.

I did all this and her response was first to lets wait until a corona virus vaccine is available. Then she would visit with other people. Then she said she had menopause, then the last straw was that she claimed to be a lesbian. A few months later I saw her out with a taller man.

Oh my Gosh !!! This brings up a couple things that I am dealing with !!! Number #1 !!! We have each other's phone numbers !!! And did texting chatting on a regular sharing deep subjects and after a little while I asked her permission to call her and she said that she prefers mostly or more texting than phone calls!!! So she even prefers that over person to person or dating !!! We first met by coincidence in a restaurant sitting and eating next to each other and towards and at the end of the meal having a great time we did exchange phone numbers!!! And 3 weeks chatting without seeing each other again !!!

I do compliment her beauty, especially her eyes. I think she has the most beautiful alluring eyes i have ever seen. They pull me in like tractor beams. They carry so much love in them! But I do compliment on other features too not just looks though. She is Brazilian, so I am learning to speak Portuguese in order to be able to communicate and connect more effectively and personally with her, it also helps me to teach her English, as she is still learning. We have a reciprocal admiration for each other, a very deep connection. Another thing i have been doing is creating a relationship with her sons, oldest and youngest. The daughters have not shown much interest in communicating, so I occasionally say hi through her but try not to push it too much. But i am especially creating a rapport with younger son. Not in exactly in a fatherly sense, he has a dad, but just as someone he can come talk to. We have some things in common, that i can relate to him in ways most others cant. So far this is a long distance relationship. But i want it to become more and i know she does too. And he is likely to come live with us if the relationship progresses that far. So i want a healthy relationship with him. We have been talking long distance for 7 months almost reaching 8 months. We are literally polar opposites both in different sides of equator and birthdays, we share half birthdays. We have a very strong electromagnetic attraction for each other. She is a very special woman. And no, she is not looking for money. In fact she is working at a job in order to earn enough money to come see me. She knows my financial situation, so it was never about money or a free ticket to America. I know this is what some people automatically think. I took my sweet time vetting her before i could no long deny how authentic she was. Our relationship is surreal, we complement each other in so many ways!

Advice on dating a single mother when she's busy but since I don't have kids I'm not. If I don't control myself I can easily overwhelm her by trying to talk and hangout all the time.
