I have never had Banku, Ghana or any African food and I’m dying to try it. I recently moved from the state of Massachusetts to Connecticut. In MA there’s a big community of Ghanian but not sure here in CT where I would find African food restaurants. I might just have to try it making myself. I’m a foodie and love foods from all over the world.
@rainbow36494 ай бұрын
There are so many Ghanaians in CT. I live in NY but work in CT daily. There are African markets and restaurants in CT, depending on where u live in CT, u could be lucky to find one.

@KwankyewaasKitchen4 ай бұрын
Kenkey and banku are both made from corn. Kenkey is wrapped with corn husks and boiled. The taste and aroma are different.

Banku? Fufu? Swallow? What is the difference??. I am eager to try Authentic African food💯🥰🙌🏽🇯🇲🙏🏽
@Serwaa9234 ай бұрын
In Ghana, fufu is cassava and plantain mix and banku is corn and cassava mix. Swallow is both or anything thing of that sort which you swallow and not chew. Try it and you will love it😊
@KwankyewaasKitchen4 ай бұрын
Banku and fufu are both considered swallow. As Serwaa explained, banku is from corn and cassava, fufu is from cassava and plantain.
@sidoniedavy19284 ай бұрын
Thank you I will 😋

Swallow is a Nigerian term, not a Ghanaian one.

Well done. Please share a video on how you made your corn meal from scratch rather than using cornflour. I am Nigerian and i remember seeing my Ghanaian friends doing it from scratch in Lagos. I cant remember how it was done again and i cant find corn flour where i am. Please abd thank you

I think you should not add any salt to the two pepper blend and the salad you already have salt in the fish and the cassava
