The reason FS22 mods on console are so limited is due to copyright laws. FS22 does not have licenses/agreements with the majority of companies (i.e. Kenworth, Peterbilt or Ford and Dodge). They're allowed on PC because people download them from 3rd party websites, therefore Giants software cant really be held accountable legally, while if they were put on the FS22 ModHub, they could be sued or face consequences. Thats why most modders only make mods for PC and not Console, much easier to make a mod for PC and upload it to a website than to make one a mod for both PC and Console and get it approved (or denied) by GIANTS.

You don’t understand making mods on console take a lot more work and it’s harder to pass with Giants you have to start from comlet scratch and no purchasable 3d models and no name brands

OK, yes, we need lots of mods. But, PC is a lot more capable then Console. And to get mods onto Consol that’s a lot more difficult then getting mods on PC, it’s not as easy as you think. I make mods, I think I would know.😅

Another factor plays into this, its not only because of people not making consle mods, it also has to be approved to be put into the consle mod area.

One issue is that mods requiring scripts can't be used on console. I could be wrong, but that's how I understand it.

Do what giants need to do is develop a 2nd gen Logitech heavy equipment side panel because the joystick itself doesn’t have enough buttons, and it needs to be bigger, I need at least 2 buttons on one matrix for the telehander, so I can extent the boom

There are limits on how giants can accept mods for console. If you don’t like how it is save your money and buy a computer

Some mods for PC have licensing that FS22 doesn’t have. Peterbilts, Ford, etc. are downloaded by people using Third-Party sites. Plus, some modders have the ability to make mods for All Platforms but chose not to. You cannot force them to make console mods when they can do whatever they want with them.

the problem is that its not a 1 second thing it takes time to make a model for the vehciels and what not ive made mods before it takes a chunk of time, plus most people are on pc and only make mods for that

Well, It's impossible to do that without getting TONS of lawsuits. That's why you guys have TLXs and Lizard, and not any PC mods like lamborghini or helicopters

Get your parents to buy you a pc you can get ones that would easily run a modded fs game for a good price ($500 approximately)

I’m doing what I can I am a bigg modded and I have ben modding for fs22 since it came out. I also, teamed up with 82 studio so we can make some mods together. As of right now all I know is that there will be a new 2023 F350 by 82. It’s coming out around march 9th.

Here for those who think console can handle all pc mods ...play arc and spawn in 20 +loot boxes and watch your console over heat...yeah i did that was lucky and it crashed..felt like a stove burner.

im a pc player and know that console dont have that much mods. really the only thing they need to do is get permission to use scripts for console and get licensing from like the semi truck brands and pickup brands such as chevy, ford, GMC.

I'm afraid most of the issue for you poor consolers is the fact that both PS and XBOX don't allow scripts (fair enough too) which torpedoes half the complicated (and a s**t-load of awesome) mods. I'm sure you all already know this 🙂

Yea, that’ll never happen. There aren’t very many people that are willing to jump through all the hoops to bring something to console. Let alone they have to deal with all the console people whining about how they don’t get very many mods. If you want mods, get a pc. Just because the game is on it, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s gonna be enjoyable.
