Hell yeah Steve, another gem of a vid! I live in the world of collecting/flipping low/mid end, and I love it! It's low(er) risk with the same 'high' when you 2x-4x your money. You said it perfectly, if you buy a card for $10 and flip it for $25, that's awesome! Or buy at $50 and flip for $70, you get that sense of accomplishment and profits on top!

Everyone forgets when selling that some people get hyped up at a certain point and seasons come and go and markets come and go so pricing above the previous comp or average of comps is natural for anyone who’s on the way up, otherwise how do prices ever go up at all?

The other thing people need to understand is if you’re a collector buy from whoever wherever whenever at a price you can afford cuz it’s gonna be your card to keep, if you’re a seller don’t buy from other sellers and don’t sell to other sellers most of the time, cater to collectors instead to other people who are also trying to cater to collectors

You aren’t making that depending on the platform. Especially eBay. I just sold a Stroud Silver for $308 and Ebay took $41. Just because your sales are a certain amount that doesn’t equal your profit.

I find several places of comps and current bids to price my cards. I stay near comps, slightly higher on bigger names to do discounts on, and pop #’s of grades determine how high a price I place on those compared to time since last sold. Over 6 mos and going into season, I’m listing high. I’ve also started sticking to cards with very low to no grades of good names and ESPECIALLY undervalued rookies. A pretty card graded 10 of rookie blowing it up brings big ROI…

Where do u find info on what is a case hit? Or what is a case hit in a set?

It's honestly puzzling to me when you actually dive into the bid history of some sales. I was watching a CJ Stroud vertical Kaboom PSA 10 sale this weekend, because I had seen it was already at $11K with a day left. It sold for $14.4k and the bid history was filled with bidders with less than 20 feedback. I was thinking to myself it is highly unlikely someone with a relatively new account is bidding at $10k + on cards. I mean there maybe, but I really doubt it. What was more puzzling is the person that won it had like 700 feedback and I was thinking even if I that kind of money to spend, I think I would still check the bid history before just throwing crazy numbers out there. I wouldn't be surprised if that card is back up for sale in a week or so.

If these idiots out here knew how much supplies, shipping, storage, time, effort, work, eBay fees, and then the original price point purchase of the card was together not to mention grading fees and shipping to and from PSA etc. went into this whole process they’d be shocked we don’t try to charge double for every card
