It is a good idea not to waste the melted wax which we throw it away. It could gathered and could be made a cup candle. Especially the wax wig if ready soaked get rigid and easily placed in the centre. If a cork with alum foil on the top with a hole is pass through it will stand erect as the cup candle gets melted while it is lit.

You can buy crude wax from the market. Also you can keep the left over wax in candle and after you collect a few you can make candle in this way.
