What do you do to make more money when driving?

You can mute the sound, which I do after every ride, some pax like the sound, some don’t. Make sure you have some screen wipes in your glove box, because the screen does get a little messy with fingerprints. I also have armor all wipes and things like that in my glove box and after every couple of rides, I go through the car and make sure it’s ready for the next rider. I’m looking for another app to use on my other seat as an alternative to play octopus, maybe streaming movies or short subject films. People seem to really enjoy the distraction.

dont want to hear ads? easy solution...turn down the volume on the octopus so you can't hear it....done! Octopus is super easy money and a no brainer...cost you nothing...cost your customers nothing. I average about $25 a month for doing nothing but putting the tablet in my car everynight when I go out for work.

Lyft giving me 70% of the rides the last 6 weeks has made a difference. Uber only 56%. They actually sent me something so I should be proud to make 14% less than the other guys?! I've cut Uber in half since.

comment from Daario about passengers wanting cheap and quick rides: the drivers want quick rides also, but need and deserve a minimum intake of $5/ride. speak up and speak out!

Too bad Play Octopus doesn't have karaoke feature. I have a karaoke mic 🎤 and speaker in my car and it makes me good tips

There is no fine print to that $25? Do you have to do a certain amount of hours to receive it?

Summer slowdown? Maybe where you're at but here in Northern California, July, August, September and sometimes October are my best months of the year!!

You know what happened to me a customer threw up behind me on the floor lifted the mat poured it under my seat I didn't even know it was there smelling something in the morning I called Uber took pictures like 10 pictures the trip and everything and they won't pay me for it they won't pay me a cleaning fee they said that they don't want to charge the customer because they don't want to hurt the customer what about my new car that has puke under my seat okay here's another one that happened the same day a man left his wallet in my back seat I found his wallet the person called me I said yes I found your wallet I will bring it to you I had to drive 20 minutes to get to give him his wallet okay so Uber supposed to give me a return fee right I think it's $20 I didn't get that either I didn't get the $150 cleaning fee Plus the $20 that I was supposed to get for returning the wallet Uber won't give it to me it's been a week they keep giving me the runaround Uber sucks

I want to listen to my own music. I'm fine with them listening to music on their own device. I fear the 🐙 represents the idea that I want them to search out their own music/entertainment. I don't want that. I want to impose my music on them😂. If they request an artist, that's fine... I will listen to their artist.
