Это мечта Греков со времен падения Византии, в следствии Османской оккупации… вот придет Святая Русь, и за нас воздаст по полной! Она сильная - Константинополь брала… ага только на момент взятия она была двуперстная, древлеправославная, да и Христианство было другое, более воинственное.. а потом её превратили в филиал новоГреческой церкви.. потом до кучи изуродовали при Петре 1, а в советское время началась еще и трансформация в еретическую структуру. Так, что про освобождение от Турок можете забыть… вы Сломали Святую Русь и до сих пор за это не покаялись… Вам никогда не видать свободы и Византии, это вам бумеранг за анафемы на старые чины и обряды. Принесете покаяние, станете креститься двуперстно, глядишь пророчества и исполнятся. За примером следует обратиться к истории Русской церкви, которая сняла анафемы со старых чинов и двуперстия, разрешила креститься и молиться, кто как хочет, как на сердце ложится, так и молись. Причем еще при патриархе Тихоне, в то время как единоверие легализовалось и того раньше, в то время как Греческая церковь до сих пор во грехе, к которому добавилось еще и новостилие?! Где покаяние со стороны греков, во всём этом, где снятие анафем? Где попытка разрешить этот вопрос? про него просто забыли.

God is at work in your country, He didn't abandon you. Proof: so many Americans become Orthodox, honestly, I am at awe! Unfortunately, the people who rule America (and the world) worship Satan. That's why the Americans will have hard times, but God loves you!

I find myself praying more and more that the Lord will judge our nation, not because of anger and bitterness primarily-though sometimes those feelings do arise-but to bring us to repentance. It saddens me how far from Him we are, how wicked we have become. For the souls of our nation, I pray that He brings judgement on our land so that we will come crawling back to Him in humility, contrition, and a softened heart.

With all due respect to the bishop, who in general I admire for his Orthodoxy, how many times do we need to hear these false prophecies about wars, shortages of food, end-times, etc. I have been hearing these things from him and others for at least 20+ years. At some point you lose your credibility. As Orthodox Christians, we do not need to worry and fear-monger, we need to always be spiritually prepared for anything that comes our way, including death and our judgement.

@@buzzard777 Sure, however in two out of three of those places mentioned it's already happened. Libya has been effectively in a civil war for nearly a decade now. Then earlier this year there was Ukraine. Just because the third mentioned hasn't happened yet doesn't mean that it won't. Two out of three so far is enough to convince me that something is going down, just a matter of when. Nations will rise against nations every so often, it will continue to be this way until the end of days.

I am only 24 and personally I admit, prone to deep anxiety still. I obsess over these prophecies and such too much, and it sucks especially because I am disabled and have very little voice in my kinda ignorant family/living situation. I need to pray a lot more and be healthier; all my life I've felt like I've gone by the skin of my butt on everything and now there's this whole world in terrible confusion. Lord have mercy. It's ultimately a wakeup call for repentance like God can and will have mercy and change the future and make fools of prophets if He chooses based on our Gospel adherence, but I'm so sick of feeling powerless and nervous about everything. I know tangent forgive me, venting, I'm just in a pit and want to help everyone and everything while I can't do anything right. Lord bless us all
