My envelope turned out perfect! I glued my top flap to the base BEFORE gluing the sides together. Easy Peasy. Thanks again!

This is great! 5x7 I know it’s not unusual and also the best hack for cutting card bases that size and mats for mass producing🙌🏼

I make either A6 cards or 5x7s. I think the best thing about your method is that you can customise that flap to match the card!

Well, it’s a great tool, but if you have a paper trimmer (like a fiskars) and a bone folder you can make that work. Run the bone folder along the groove of the trimmer. It will work in a pinch, but I do use my score board a lot. Glad to see you here, Penny! 🩷

I have the envelope board and always have trouble with any size I want to make, and rarely do they come out the exact size. Sometimes I make them similar to what you do. The majority of my cards are A2, but I also make a lot of 3x3 envelopes to make small thank you cards to give out when I’m out shopping.

All you need to do is put it inside the next larger rectangle sized envelope. Then it should only require one stamp if it weighs under one ounce.
