Absolutely love it!!! I have a similar bed, in full size, and the rest of the set. It was my grandparents and my mom and aunts were born in it. It has some damage, this would definitely work.

Could you also use watercolor or acrylics thinned to make it look hand painted? Even maybe water based oils? Have to practice of course to get the technique down. Just beautiful. Thanks for the videos.

Sure you can, just practice on a scrap piece until you get the look you want. Enjoy creating!

I use a rolling pin for my moulds! It removes the excess, while simultaneously finding every single nook and cranny in the mould! It's also showing the clear and clean rim, so you know it's full and I just pop them out and once or twice slap it firmly face down the table and the extra clay falls right off!!!!💗

I am redoing a vanity I bought for my Daughter when she was about 10. She is now 31. It is going from oak to GLAM!! And I am using this mound!! I hope it turns out as pretty as your bed!!
