"But CGB, how old are you?" Age isn't really a concept to a control wizard. Extra time is a resource which can be cast for anywhere 2 mana (busted) to 7 mana (also busted). By some measurements CGB is well over 200 years old. That's just how wizards be.

I've taken to casting Time Walk with Chandra Beacon of Hope on the battlefield. So many salty scoops. Had someone the other night who was gracious enough to let me play three massive turns in a row, folded when I double cast Time Walk again. Edit: I tend to cackle like a madman when I become the master of Time and Space.

interesting deck, choosing to cut sheoldred is a very weird choice. Also there are no gix's command so winning against the convoke guy is pretty hard.

Your theory proves right with me. I don't think I'm going to play Timeless in the near future (or at all, to be honest), but I do love watching it and seeing the crazy combos and other stuff that populates the format. As for the uneditted video of yesterday, one every now and then is welcomed. I'm not the kind of person that watches videos of that length regularly , but I enjoy them occasionally.

So, forgot to comment on the timeless video, but here to say that I love the honesty of showing the games how they were, not cherrypicking nice wins or anything of the kind. Even if it's not a 2h video showing every single game, just showing the deck at its best, at its worst, and somewhere in between, with an outro that said "I went 10-15" would already be great. And I, for one, like a longer video, even if I am not representative of the mean Cool Kid.

Honest answer to your questions at the end (But no questions CGB!): I'm happy to see more Timeless, but the most fun videos tend to be the ones where you're enjoying playing the deck and the game, so Historic Brawl is probably the format of choice for me.

Opinions: 1. I think you should play more of what you enjoy. A lot of your viewers, the true cool kids club, care about you having fun. If that makes it easier to put out the daily videos, then we only win. That being said, I want to see more HB 😁 2. I like the clean look of the edited videos, but I also like your rambles between videos from live footage. I also like that we got more footage yesterday. It balances out for the most part. 3. Thank you, CGB, for years of daily content. You're the real cool kid, and we appreciate you

Playing a version of this but I play white with it. I really like this version and would be cheap to add to my decklists because I own 97% of the cards if not all already. Really cool list. Thanks for sharing! 🎉🎉🎉 For reference I’m not playing evolved sleeper, Jairo, Malcom, underdog, preacher, or virtue. Added main deck wandering emp, destroy evil, raffine, wedding, white virtue and bats. Lots of 1/2 offs very few cards playing 3/4 of. Had a ton of luck with it. Win rate has been close to 65% in the last 24 games. I play best of 3.

Would like to see a timeless deck that doesn’t contain the same 24 cards in 80-% of decks 😂 Try out the version of this deck that drops the boats and the few other cards you don’t like and toss in a few more controlling type white cards mentioned above. Again I play BO3 but could def adjust for BO1. Thanks again! Love the variety you’re bringing out. Quickly becoming one of the most watched on my rotation of magic content. 🎉🎉🎉

For me, at least, I looked at 2 hours of video from CGB and thought "I just don't have time to watch all of this." It's cool on a weekend when most other content creators aren't posting or when other content is dry, but especially end of year, lots of people have lots of content they put out celebrating the year, so I just watched that Rakdos Burn video in between when other content creators posted their stuff. I think the unedited is fine sometimes, but I enjoy more cultivated content generally speaking. I appreciate that you're willing to work on improving your content for your fans, but as someone who always watches your video daily anyway, it's all good to me anyway. Thanks for the hard work, and good luck with the new year!

About Timeless, for now I see your point. It’s really fun to watch, but is it going to be fun to play? Idk. I haven’t even started there yet, cause I want to give standard another chance with the new set coming up in less than 2 months. But I can see there already a very good variety of decks in timeless. Need to see how it settles after 1-2 months, I guess.

Watching Timeless is fun. Too expensive with the mana base and alchemy cards for me to want to play it though. Personally I like the longer unedited footage, since it gives me time to think about the deck as I watch the games. Maybe more videos of the decks being palyed on streams?
