Hi everyone, in this video I show you how to make a big, bulk batch of liquid hand wash! Using this big batch, I show you how to customize smaller batches for your individual soap dispensers. The color and fragrance combinations are endless!
This formula has simple ingredients and is super easy to put together. I designed it for frequent handwashing, so it is gentle, mild and oh so emollient! It also has a great slip and lather. It really is the perfect hand wash, especially for winter time use! I hope you enjoy the video!

That's interesting and a great recipe for someone who doesn't want to use sodium/potassium hydroxides. The cost though would be a touch expensive I think for hand soap. I'd love to see how you would make a liquid recipe using lye. I've been wanting to do that for quite some time but never seem to get a chance with other things coming up. My day job sure does get in the way! 😂

Totally get it! I will have to formulate a hand soap with KOH now. Indeed it would be even less expensive than this formula. Although, I do find this one heavenly! I do have several liquid soap recipes using KOH just not specifically hand soap.

Hi I came across your video on how to make perfume like a pro and I’ve gotten this perfume called Melanie Martinez cry baby perfume it has a hint of strawberry at the beginning but the one I got is missing that sent since it’s many many years old what should I do to fix it ?

Cory, beautiful hand soap base. If you wanted to make a bottle antibacterial what would you add? Essential oils, thyme, tea tree oil? Thanks .

Hi Debbie, yes, I would use tea tree and rosemary essential oils to boost the antibacterial properties.

Yes, just skip the thickening phase and it should work great in a foaming dispenser.

Yes, it can be a hard one to find. You can use more cocamidopropyl Betaine in it's place.

can you use coco glucoside in place of capryl?

Yes you can, you may want to check ph if you opt to use coco glucoside as it has a higher ph. You can reduce the ph with a little citric acid

Those ingredients (alkyl glycosides) have been singled out by dermatologists as allergen of the year! Same deficiency applies to coco betaine! But that doesn’t stop her from promoting them!!!
