Small correction on Ember level range: The range for using Embers is LESS than 5 levels away from the map level. This means you can use a ilvl 79 Ember on a T16 (ilvl 83) map, but not an ilvl 78 Ember. Apologies for the mistake. Here's a bit of math comparing Ambush Scarabs and Ambush Scarabs of Hidden Compartments. Ambush Scarabs of Hidden Compartments, in conjunction with Secret Compartments (Atlas Passive) and the small passives gives you a 31% chance for your Strongboxes to reset. This is worth roughly 50-55% more Strongbox openings per map. Ambush Scarab of Hidden Compartments is worth about half of that value, so 25-28% more Strongbox openings per map. Is this better than just using a regular Ambush Scarab? That depends on how many Strongboxes are in your map. The Atlas Passive Tree grants 1, the Map Device grants 5, and Ambush Scarabs grant 5 each. With 3 Ambush Scarabs, you're at 21 Strongboxes, minimum, which puts you right around the point at which regular Ambush Scarabs and Hidden Compartments Scarabs break even (20 * .25 = 5). Regular Ambush Scarabs are more expensive in bulk than Hidden Compartments Scarabs (about 5-6c vs. 2c), so this is a fine trade. If you are using Ambush Scarabs of Containment (i.e., the new Monstrous Treasure), then you will easily have upwards of 50 Strongboxes in your map, and getting 25% more openings (about 10-15) absolutely destroys the value of just getting 5 more strongboxes.

Hey, as someone who is doing a very similar conceptual strategy I posted a video of me doing ssfsc map very juiced up with a link in description to my endgame core tree concept. The delve node "The Price of Progress" can reward you with a box, a shrine, or a tormented spirit. I've gotten unique box's from it, you get 0-3 strongboxes a map :). Strongbox's have a mod that drop additional scarabs due to no operatives existing. GL, personally enjoying the league a lot!

ive gone through 40 maps today similar as u explained , hit 1 time chaos orbs and and rest of time mostly bubblegum currency. i got a lot of scarabs as well but majority of them with very little value, no big drops yet. i guess u have to be lucky to hit the best mods to make it really profitable. (to be fair - i didnt sell corpses - i want to use them for crafting later). if u want constant "cashflow-income" i may would recommend other strats. anyway - thats just my xp from today - thank you for the guide! :)

Wind fury druids are the new enhancement shaman. The dopamine of proccing that is unmatched so thanks for pointing that out I can relive this with loot.

Graduation was yesterday, and I’m ready to hit it hard. Got two voidstones in. But haven’t really got any currency. Spent all of my chaos getting my eye of malice and lightning coil working. Have 1 divine. Any advice to make some money late league before they shut it down?

How much were ambush scarabs when you bought them, they're like 10c each in bulk now :| It's super fun but seems a little too expensive for what it is

I played 6 maps earlier (yellow) and made almost a divine in corpses. Just the increased tier ones cost like 10c ea. Wish I had more time to play. Looks like you can make a ton of currency this league. I haven't even done other league mechanics yet as I'm still working on my atlas.

This is great for us casual players (the hardcore guys generally seem mega rich regardless 😂) In other news, i tried grave crafting aegis aurora and, made a somewhat likeness yellow kite shield with similar stats, so hoping i think im on to something with understanding it (makes a change because i suck at regular crafting 😂😂😂😂)

The top crafting got much better. The bottom is still trash. Good luck crafting anything worth 1div without craft of exile and 5 years of poe experience. The maps are soo much better tho. i do like seeing the mobs i will encounter and being able to change porcupines on anything else.

Look at fubgun's twitch. They broke the league, and maybe the game. I'm fine with easy access, I'm a casual. But in a game so dominated by its economy, this is gonna cause MAJOR problems.
