Max output is 1-2 amps only for low power kits.

yes because we make a regulator 0 to 12 volts you can use any value capacitor like 25v 470uf or else. Thanks for your Question.

So you're using a FIXED voltage regulator to make a VARIABLE power supply, by the naming scheme you can get why something like this won't work perfectly, don't waste your time doing this circuit people, just look for a LM317 variable voltage circuit, you get far more range and you wont damage the potentiometer in the process

LM317 is also a good variable regulator but it cant run any motor with variable voltage, it used for only variable power supply for circuits. And in this video i just show that you can make it using 7805 ic. The purpose of this video is only for providing education that it can be done using these ic's. Hope you understand.
