Start off by adding any shape that you want. I’ll start with grabbing the text tool and typing a “Plus”.
Then I’ll Hit the big “T” on my keyboard for opacity. Add a keyframe, move it forward in time by one special frame. Then set the opacity to 0%. Then move forward by 3 frames, and set the opacity to 0% again!
Now here is the beatify of what we are doing. Take the layer and duplicate it. Move it randomly to a spot inside of your comp. And repeat this process until you have a lot of shapes.
You can always mix in different shapes as well.
When you’re shapes are done, offset the layers in your timeline.
Now that you are done, you can apply this composition on top of your footage or edits.
And now, you have may your projects much more interesting with about a minutes worth of work.
