Since starting my design journey back in January, you and Chris Do from the futur have become my personal mentors. I absolutely love your content. I’d love to see a lot of these videos all structured into a course or structured video reference guide. I’d pay for it. Looking forward to seeing your font soon! I have 2 questions. 1 - what software do you use to make your videos? 2 - could you do a video on ‘how’ you started to get clients in your first year? I’ve got a few clients now who are returning over and over. But it’s not enough work to go all-in at the moment. Thanks for everything!

@@SatoriGraphics Thanks for your response! Yes at the end of the day effective design truly is in the eyes of the beholder and one size can never fit all. Too much motion doesn’t work for me but I can see in this increasingly noisy world it can help get and keep attention for others. Overall I think you have an outstanding channel and you have definitely helped me become a better designer so thanks again. (Maybe I will get used to increased use of motion someday!)
@haleykrokodilfreesheetmusi52982 жыл бұрын
Motion graphics are not just a trend. They help us staying focused and entertained especially when it comes to educational content. Like VSauce for example, he's very dynamic and shows us lot of funny stuff in his educational videos, there s not so much of motion graphics but the purpose is the same.
@janesmith96282 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, @@haleykrokodilfreesheetmusi5298 I guess I had HOPED motion graphics was just a trend, because they do not help ME stay focused and entertained. Personally I find them aversive (the bell curve is large and I am an outlier, apparently.) But your points are well-taken, as I continue to create content for others. (Edited to add: I just watched one of VSauce's and saw MOTION but not FRENETIC motion created by graphic elements buzzing in and out. I'll have a better look at what's on his channel to see if I can get a better grasp of what you're meaning. Thanks for the tip.)

"Deciding the right font is just as important as the word itself" So true. Its like saying "We are professional" by using cartoonish font. Just by looking at the font, we already decide these words can't be trusted. So yes, font is just as important as the word itself.
