I am showing you how to make a lovely bath tea & soak. It’s my new take on bath tea that I think you'll enjoy very much. This is a relaxing bath tea and is comprised of 5 elements. Scented bath salts, decorative salts, bath pearls, bath soak + bath tea (in a bag). This entire project is customizable. You can add other ingredients, take out ingredients, or change amounts without a big impact on the final product.
BATH SOAK: 1 cup milk (coconut), 1/2 cup clay (Kaolin), 1 tablespoon melatonin, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup citric acid. Wet: 30 milliliters fragrance oil, 5 milliliters polysorbate 80, & liquid color. Add wet to dry, mix well, dry completely. Add 1.5 - 2 cups Epsom salts. BATH TEA: Choose elements that play into your theme. I added Lemongrass, Lavender Buds, Lemon, Elderberries, Rose hips. Add the elements in layers, it looks a lot better. SCENTED BATH SALTS: Color 2 cups Epsom salt. Mix together a base (I used 12 grams natrasorb bath) & 10 grams fragrance oil, & 2 grams polysorbate 80. *** You can use tapioca starch or flour, corn starch, baking soda… Virtually ANY dry powder as a base! Add it to salt & mix well. Make sure salt is evenly coated & non-clumping. DECORATIVE SALT: Dye 2 cups Epsom salt (I used liquid food coloring) then coat salt with sparkling mica (I used warm space pearl). PACKAGING: Place the tea bag in the jar then fill it. Pin the tea bag to one side then pack the layer in. Make sure to pack each layer well. Once the jar is full pack it well & fill it all the way to the top. OR You can also make bath tea bags. RESULTS: The bath tea was really nice & very relaxing. FRAGRANCE: I think I may have created a new scent! It's amazing! I find lavender really strong & pungent. So I added cocoa butter cashmere to soften & sweeten it a little bit (coconut shea, or cashmere cedar work great too) & a citrus scent, Avo bath, to cut the harshness. I used equal amounts of lavender & cocoa butter cashmere & 1/4 Avo bath. All of these can be found at www.theflamingcandle.com/
