Great video! I made a few myself a while back, but never thought to put it over a broom handle to help it stretch out a bit. I will certainly be doing it now!

But where can you buy the mesh at to make them cheap. I like to build to sell. I've always enjoyed making I build rods and shark leaders. But the trouble is buying materials.

I used to have some that had a Bungie Cord to slip over the reel to hold it on. Do you ever add something like that?

And if you like a "KEEPER" for the bottom opening, use those spring-loaded "clips" for drawstrings with 1/8" Bungee Cord. (Those "Clips" are found on Amazon, along with the Bungee Cord). Look just like the BPS ones, then...!

@@bykergus Sorry, no link. Just watch a few "rod socks" videos, and you'll find out how to make Custom ones - for a couple of bucks! (I'd suggest getting LARGER material than suggested, unless you have micro-guides on your Bass Rods) I make a couple dozen every year, and giv'em away as B.D. and X-Mas presents.
