Today we're going to change the trackpad in a ThinkPad X240 to an X250 one with proper buttons. Also works for other 40-series ThinkPads.

Do you have a link for the driver you used. I’ve read multiple forums and tried all the drivers that were recommended but I can’t find one that makes the TrackPoint buttons to work like you managed to do. Just purchased a T440 to join the ThinkPad community and trying to get mine to work like it should. Your help would be appreciated. I think you said in video link is in description but I don’t see one.

@@KrupsFilms Thanks a lot. The trickiest part was to put the flex cable back. And the sticky tape had to be replaced on mine. :)

Will it work on a helix 1st gen enhanced dock? Very similar trackpad to the x240 & t440. Annoying
