Hook and loop tape works good too. So you can interchange the patches if you want.

Sure, I ended up doing a bit of sewing at 4 key points on this patch as a precaution, because I was going to wear it the next day and didn't want to take any chances...

Probably, depending on how new the hat is. Once you put it on though, you're kind of committed.

How long does the patch adhesive last?

Years, if not forever. You can also Scotchguard the hat to protect it further from water.

Like you said "add stitching to anything glue-on" but that's what I want to avoid.

Agree, but the ghostbuster patch is odd shaped, probably don't need to stitch unless you want to use right away like I did on this one. Weighing down the patch for a couple of days with something like a 2 lb bag bag of rice would aid the adhesion...

Not that I wash hat's that often, but I've washed uniforms that have patches on them and as long as you use a gentle cycle and cold water I've never had a problem...

not sure. You'd have to be careful not to melt the cover...

@@MakeItorBreakItNow well im not planning to heat press. Wondering about the glue that is already on the patch. If it would comprise the adhesive of the magic patch. Ill be giving it a try though 🤞🏽
