I walked into Walmart and there was a whole shelf of them! Someone told me they were a Walmart exclusive. The precautions that you mentioned about using the various equipment was spot on. Barbie (and ken) in such colorful spandex are so cute. I prefer inline or rollerblades over rollerskates. Her krimped hair is so 90s. Definitely a different look to what the doll's box hair was. And again yay to your mom for finding not one but two knowing both inbox and out of the box collector.

Your collection is everything 😍 I had roller blade Barbie in the early 90’s and her roller blades sparked. I’m pretty sure that doll was discontinued because of her fire blades. These dolls kind of remind me of her.

The Barbie movie dolls are gorgeous! I have three and one more on the way. But I am still longing for Mattel to release the Alan doll from the movie, I think that was a missed opportunity, given the newly revamped popularity of that character.

I got two of both of the dolls. Also I got two of the Funko Pop’s. One to keep in box and to play with. I remember the 90’s roller blade! ⚡️ ✨ glad the blades are functional. This skate doll would have been perfect if she came with a fisted 👊🏼 🤛 🤜 hand. I enjoy your review.

Technically roller blading and roller skating are 2 different things blades are inline wheels and skates are usually 4 wheels in a rectangular format. Yes it probably also depends on the region you come from but most of the time blading means inline wheels and skating is 4 wheels. Also I just kinda wish she had the heeled feet her other dolls have or that she straight up was a made to move doll from the very beginning. The Gloria doll is a fully made to move petite body doll, so why wasn’t the Margot doll a MTM doll. Also I head swapped my movie Ken’s with the superhero body Barbie looks dolls and ooooo he’s better❣️❣️❣️❣️ also for anyone who wants to switch to a MTM body for the Margot doll the perfect body match is the Barbie looks with the big red curly hair and the silver A-symmetrical jumpsuit… I don’t remember what number she is but her skin tone is the exact same color as the Margot doll, and is the standard barbie body so it’ll still fit all the official Barbie movie clothes too. I discovered this when I was in a frantic search to find a new body cuz I was super bummed she wasn’t just a MTM body to begin with, especially seeing as they already had that skin tone in that body so why wasn’t she just MTM aghhhhhh sorry for my rant lol 😂

I already commented that I got Ken on your insta so now I'm catching up with the video. 😛Your setup has gotten so cute! I haven't washed and redressed Ken yet, but mine had really loose accessories too. I was gonna suggest using rubber bands but you beat me to the punch! I usually wrap them around the body (not too tightly) to give it some leverage and put the accessory on top, especially for those crappy flip-flops some of them come with. Also is it just me or is it surprising they're not collector dolls? I was expecting a stand and a certificate lmao Her hair turned out really cute too! It definitely reminds me a lot of Totally Hair or Cut N Style Barbie. For the head swapping, your water might not be getting hot enough or penetrating the vinyl enough. On weaker stovetops, you wanna let them sit for about 4 to 6 minutes depending. For extra security, I like to wrap their head in saran wrap (sort of like a lollipop wrapper) to keep water from getting in. It also forms to the shape of their head a bit nicer compared to plastic bags meaning that there's less obstructing the heat from where it needs to go. Beware longer hair as well. It always likes to rest along the neck and dampen the heat way too much and there isn't much of a great solution other than giving them a big bun on their head and using a deeper pot or just saying fuck it and dunking their head in raw. I still have no solution there, but I hope all of this helps somewhat.
