This is my counter argument to that fighters are not the strongest fastest or have the best endurance than anyone else fighters are some of the most well rounded but I believe it’s football or CrossFit athletes I’m an army infantryman so I got a good idea of overall fitness

MMA is the hardest sport, but that's NOT where you find the best athletes. In the United States, the very best athletes are found in the NBA and the NFL. The best athletes go where the money is found. And, in the United States, the money is found in the NBA and the NFL. If NFL players entered the NBA, they'd RULE MMA. Do you realize that many NFL players were also outstanding wrestlers in high school, and they could have easily gone on to become D1 wrestlers? Many NFL players played and excelled in multiple sports in high school - football, baseball, basketball, wrestling, track and field, etc. Can you imagine if a guy like Ray Lewis decided to go to MMA? Ray Lewis was a state champion wrestler in high school. Brian Urlacher was a heck of basketball player when he was young. My friend witnessed a 6'4" 250-lb Urlacher do a 360 dunk at a charity basketball game. In the NFL, you got 330-lb linemen who can run the 40 in under 5-seconds, who have 32-inch vertical jumps, and who can bench press 225-lbs 40x. Can you imagine if these guys decided to fight MMA from a young age? NFL and the NBA has the best athletes. End of discussion.

@@anthonymontalvo8858 Crossfit athletes are mediocre at a lot of things, but they don't excel at anything. They're fit overall, but they're "Jack of all trades, master at none". They'd get SMOKED by real Olympic lifters. They'd get SMOKED by real gymnasts. They'd get SMOKED by real sprinters. They'd get SMOKED by real marathoners. They're like the Leatherman multi-purpose tool. "Ok" for a lot of things, but not really good at anything.

@@anthonymontalvo8858 Well, I mean you look at the sheer athleticism of guys like Lebron James, Zion Williamson, Anthony Edwards, Dennis Rodman, Magic Johnson, etc. Were talking guys 6'6" and taller who are fast has hell, who can jump, who got great footwork, and have great endurance. Lebron James was an outstanding football player in high school, and he even got recruited by D1 schools, including the Fighting Irish. Most people agree that he could have easily played in the NFL if he decided to go that route. All of these guys are just unbelievably athletic. You need to be just to make it to the NBA or to the NFL.

Not harder to make it in than most team sports. A bit of training and a decently athletic person can go far. Just look at jake Paul holding his own against actual boxers. Anthony joshua took up the sport at 18. No chance a footballer could do that
