I really appreciate you for sharing. Sometimes I get frustrated getting recommendations from those with flawless skin. Or when they wig out about their “acne” and they have one teeny spot you can’t even see. I’ve suffered from acne since age 12 and now I’m early 40’s - it’s a crime to now have to deal with breakouts and aging! I did want to share a product that solved 90% of my breakouts so is it’s primarily scars. It’s Dapsone, a prescription from my dermatologist and I never hear anyone talk about it. It’s been a lifesaver for me, and I had tried everything. No affiliation, just wanted to share for those struggling!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! I appreciate you so much for this, because this personally how I like my makeup to look. For me personally, I feel like using more full coverage products emphasizes my imperfections more and not only that, but I end up looking Cakey 😬 your makeup always looks FLAWLESS and natural and love that I can still see and appreciate your true skin. Ahhh it all makes sense now! This is what you were referencing in your latest video. Ugh the adult acne struggle is real 😩 but it’s comforting to know that we aren’t alone. I suffer from hormonal acne and perioral dermatitis and am currently going through a flare up. As much as I wanted to cover it all up, I took the last few days and have gone makeup free. And honestly? It’s been great and I can see that it’s really allowing my skin to heal. Love ALL your content, Maryam and your honesty!

thank you so much for this video! I never had a lot of acne until recently as the past few years I have struggled with dermatiomania. I used to never touch my face. Now I’m a picker and I get bad breakouts and scars. This will help so much ❤❤❤

I can identify with your skin concerns. I'm 58 and still oily and have breakouts. The only good thing is that I do not look my age and have some fine lines ...no wrinkles. I do take care of my skin. I also have allergic reactions to some skincare and makeup products. When I was tested for chemical allergies they found me to be allergic to binders in products. Do you use the OH Banana Bright or Truth serum? I've used the Truth serum for almost 20 years and have just started to use the Banana Bright serum. You did a great job blending out your imperfections!

Hi Maryam❤ I would like to know the name of the sunscreen you wore so I can avoid it, sometimes one hears such great reviews about a product and one wants to buy it because it worked for a lot of people 😅 but it ends up being a horrible experience. Ps. I have the same skin type as you, plus rosacea 😔

yepppp i'm 34 and wearing masks and going through hormonal changes REALLY messes up my skin. also, a random bacterial flare-up worsened things!

I cant SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS VIDEO !!!!! The emotion!! Some think we are being to "superficial." when we say are skin ACTUALLY HURTS !! I have had EVERY SINGLE SKIN ISSUE known to mankind! And even a couple that stumped my Dermatologist ! I am going to watch again !!

GIRLLLLL ! I am 52 and STILLL break out ! I am SO glad you embraced it! One thing I hate is I feel that I have to use differnt base products daily to accomidate my crazy skin. I also HATE when I get DRY patches AND acne.....UGH !!

Hi Maryam ❤ When have a skin issue i kiss my finger and bring the kiss to the affected area or if my mouth can reach the area, I kiss it directly and I speak to the area, i remind it that i love it, that it still part of me and I say comforting words to it. for exemple "im so sorry , this affection will leave sooner than you think, you will be okay" then I summon the affection for exemple "leave my [affected area] now and never come back. It's not your place" 🤭🤭 and i kiss the affected area again. And it helps me alot mentally ❤

I 100 percent agree. I think that people with acne COVER with a full coverage foundation looks WORSE. If you use a light cover so you only see a few it almost TRICKS the eye into people thinking that is ALL thats wrong. Its like you are walking around with people thinikin ..." yeh I got just a couple zits and dont care " Little do they know

My skin is so oily and acne prone and chemical sunscreens are better for me. Zinc does clog pores! Try new Japanese chemical sunscreens? So good and absolutely no breakout 😊

Interesting! I use only 1 hybrid sunscreen thats never broken me out, the rest are all mineral

I haven't had acne in a couple of years. While it sucks, it always made me feel young. Reminder that my body was active, producing oils and hormones. Now that I haven't had acne in a while, I'm like, am I too old for acne? Is my body just shutting down? lol

I will look, but I will say, it's been lasting me a while, it's such a good consistency and the crayon itself is thick so I haven't sharpened it yet.

I cany say enough about this video !!! It SUCKS when your skin HURTS. I take GOOD care of my skin. I LITERALLY had a Pimple Go completely rouge on me 2 weeks ago, so kinda ironic that you posted this now. I had to go to have is surgically removed, 10 days of antibiotics. UGH . LOVE YOU FOR THIS>>>> !!!!!
